StarCraft 2 Mac Won't Start

Mac Technical Support
After installing StarCraft 2, the game will not start. Every time I push play a message appears that says,"An error occurred starting StarCraft II. Please try again." I have tried everything, including reinstalling the game several times and updating my Mac, but nothing has worked. I am extremely frustrated and annoyed, so please help!
Can you post a screen shot of the error? Also, please post your system specs.

Obtaining System Information
    1. Hold the 'Option' Key and choose System Profiler/Information from the Apple Menu.

    2. Copy the information from the following sections:
  • Hardware (remove the Serial Number line)
  • Graphics/Displays
  • Software (remove the Computer Name and User Name lines)
I'm having the same issue, here are the specs:

Procesador 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memoria 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Gráficos NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB

Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63b)

Now the error shot (i switched the language to spanish)

"Faltan archivos en tu instalación de StarCraft II."

@McCerdo- This seems to be happening due to missing data in your variables.txt file.

Can you post yours so we can look and see what is missing?

    1. Click on Finder
    2. Select Go > Go to Folder from the system menu bar
    3. Type or copy/paste the following:
    ~/Library/Application Support/Blizzard/StarCraft II4. Open variables.txt with TextEdit
    5. Copy/Paste the contents here.
