Thanks Nobody! That worked for me (Much less intrusive than the DNS settings fix). Just for diagnostics, here's my trace output:

Thanks Nobody, your below suggestion works for me.

Windows users:

1. Close Starcraft.
2. Open your Windows start menu, search for the Notepad application and then right click on the Notepad icon.
3. Choose "Run as administrator".
4. In Notepad, go to File -> Open.
5. Type or paste the following and press enter:C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
6. You should now see the contents of the hosts file.
7. Go to the bottom of the file and add this: 12.120.152.128 us.depot.battle.net
8. Save the file and close Notepad.
9. Start Starcraft and see if this has fixed your problem.

This one works guys.
awesome thank you so much Nobody!!!!
EdgeCast believe they have now fixed the issue with their server (68.232.45.253). I can confirm it now works for me without the DNS workarounds.

If you had previously changed your DNS settings or modified your hosts file, can you try undoing those changes, and then see if you can play SC2 now? A good test would be:
1. Close SC2
2. Undo the DNS or hosts file changes
3. Make sure "ping us.depot.battle.net" reports 68.232.45.253
4. Check that you can download http://us.depot.battle.net:1119/000000test.txt
5. Run SC2 and log in to the US server
6. Make sure you can start a quick match
7. Try to create a custom game for a map you haven't played before, or play an Arcade game you haven't played before

Let me know if it works!
I have also received word that as of last night, this issue should be resolved. Please let us know if you still have difficulties!
