when i click on the map editor i get the following error message. can anyone tell me what to do?

when i do a search on m computer or go through my starcraft files the only thing i can find in relation to the map editor is the launcher. so im thinking maybe if a redownload the map editor that would fix it but of course i have no idea where that would be.

This indicates the StarCraft II Editor is on the desktop and not in the StarCraft II folder. Can you verify this?
yes the starcraft 2 editor icon is on the desktop. i can do a search and the only thing i find is the icon both of them do not work they give me the same error. do you know what i should do?
after what you asked i looked up the map editor file "contents" and i moved it to my star craft files under applications. but now my launcher icon obviously wont work. im not sure if im on the right track and what the next thing should be that i should do.
Ok, can you clarify the 'launcher' icon? Where is the launcher icon at, and what error do you get when launching it?
thanks for your help. to fix the issue i decided just to delete and re installed the game. everything is working fine now. again thanks for your help and time
