Let me post a detailed solution to fix this, assuming you have the EU client and you want to play in EU.

1. Open Notepad
2. Paste this:

<region displayname="AUTHENTICATION_US_REGION" hostname="us"
allowedProductLocales="all" localesThatDefaultToThisRegion="enUS"/>
<region displayname="AUTHENTICATION_EU_REGION" hostname="eu"
allowedProductLocales="all" localesThatDefaultToThisRegion="enGB"/>
<region displayname="AUTHENTICATION_KR_REGION" hostname="kr"
allowedProductLocales="all" localesThatDefaultToThisRegion="koKR"/>
</regions>

3. Save as regions.xml
4. Drag it into the Starcraft II folder in Program Files (right where the .exe is)
5. Unplug your computer from internet connection
6. Open Launcher, hit Play ---> CANCEL the "Connecting to servers stream"
7. Do not Play Offline, just change the region to Europe.
8. Plug your computer to the internet again (without closing the client) and Log in.

It happened to me. I had to reinstall!
88.6% I really hope reinstalling works don't want to wait another 3 hours for this game to download.

It was an 50 mb patch.
It also seems as though the ability to change regions is gone.
I do not know if that is just me.
I have not seen any patch.

To fix this problem you need to re-apply the patch. This is how you trigger it:

Go to C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent right click on agent.db restore to previous version, download 50mb patch and play. If you can't see programdata then type in the "C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent" to the address bar, or display hidden folders.

Yeah, to be fair I did try this and it simply didn't offer me the patch. I even downloaded the agent.db file from the nz guy who posted it, and replaced mine with his. Still no patch. So not a fix for all.

7.6% re-installed. GOD... big game.
Can anyone confirm reinstalling fixes the issue?

I clicked the 'restore' button and then ok. :( It was a file from two days ago.
