Pet Battles: How about some honesty? Let's get down to it: How about some honesty when it comes to Hit Ratings?! Stop trying to make us believe that these tooltips are accurate. Clearly, you've been taking some of us for fools. Dive, 80% Hit Chance? YEAH RIGHT! Come out with it, already. Admit that the rules apply differently when we are facing tamers and spirits. My guess? 15% variance on both sides. Whatever the Hit percentage I see in the tooltip, if I'M the one using the move, subtract 15%. If it's the computer, add 15%. Dive's tooltip: 80%. My Dive: 65%. Theirs: 95%. Same applies to any other moves, and especially similar ones, like Lift-Off (oh dear...) and Burrow. Need more examples? Sure! - Whispering Pandaren Spirit (air spirit): I fall asleep to Dusty's Moth Dust way more often than the suggested 25%. - Burning Pandaren Spirit (fire spirit): Cyclone has what... 35% chance to hit (I would assume it's per pet). Somehow, it will usually hit 2 if not all 3 of my pets on each turn. If I was to use Cyclone, I'd be watching a motionless tornado on the side, waiting to expire. Now, since it's full of haters out there: Yes, it is fairly easy to beat any of the tamers using the right pets. But that's not the point. The point is to be able to rely on the information that is provided by the people who designed the game. To have the rules apply to everyone the same way. Not to have people believe one thing when the reality is somewhat different. Besides, using the 3 right pets isn't even the goal. I have more Lesser Charms of Good Fortune than I could ever spend. The goal is to level up other pets and to use that big chunk of experience that these fights can give and so, one of the 3 pets is obviously less than optimal. I am NOT new at pet battling. I battle most of the tamers and spirits on a daily basis and many times a week, I'll do the 3 Beasts of Fables. And after tons of battles, you see patterns. You notice anomalies and how some 'luck' on the computer's part goes from 'weird coincidence' to right down suspicious. And I'm not alone. No need to look very far to find other battlers annoyed with this. Arktika29
