Skill organization and other infos?

Paladin
Hi everyone,

I have recently reached level 90 and am currently 495 ilvl from timeless isle equip including weapon and shield as seen at http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/sargeras/Asunah/advanced I am aware I can use burden to upgrade it to 535 however I haven't been lucky dropping it so far, all I got was 1.

I have enchanted and placed gems on everything I could and am looking for good options on how I should go about upgrading my gear from here.

Besides that I would love to see some tank pally screenshots of how your UI looks like and how you organize your skills on it for best usage and if you place any special keys so I could improve my own styling using it as example.

Oh and besides dbm and recount anything useful I should use?

Thanks all for any advices.
Get Omen, if you can still find a working one. The last writer gave up and it doesn't work correctly for 5.4, but I managed to find one on a french warcraft addon site. >.< If you can't find one, find anything that will give you an actually decent threat display.

If you didn't get the burden from the chest up in the center of Ordon Sanctuary between the two elementals, go get that one. When you make new gear from Timeless Isle, set your loot spec to ret and just hope you don't get crit. If you do get crit, use it anyway (it's minor, but using EF means crit isn't a bad stat even for prot), unless it's just crit. You want to do that because haste is basically the most valuable stat for tanking after hit and expertise capping, and you won't get it on random stat gear with your loot set as prot. I'd generally recommend using a burden to make a helm, if you have one.

For info, there's a prot sticky at the top. For really in-depth info, http://www.sacredduty.net/

That's what my UI looks like tanking, which is a mess, but I don't click anything. My binds are where my hands are used to them being and they're just slowly grown like a fungus to expand more and more area. Pitbull for unit frames, I use default raid frames set up to look like Grid used to, needtoknow for sacred shield, extracd for trinket/meta procs, and something showing vengeance and AP.

Also you should get mogit and start soloing some old raids. >.>
Hi Cayse,

First I would like to thank you for the answer, now to the point:

I've got all chests including weekly ones twice now, haven't done many rares yet and all I got as 1 burden which I had already used on my chest ;( should have made the post early LOL.

I will start hunting more at isle for burden when things get cold, just having a hard week at work...

What does EF means? Eternal Flames?

That's some great info I was going for equip with either parry or dodge thinking that should be the main importance for me.

I have a few isle set and items left at bank I will open them and see if I can upgrade some with haste, very good info here.

I am also saving a set to try to use burden on it.

Interesting ADDONs will check them out and see how they work out for me.

What raids do you recommend me to do as best to test weather I am tanking OK or not with my currrent ilvl/equip?

Or you mean it just for the xmog items to make my gear looks the way I want it?

Thank you very much for the screenshot definitively helpful and will help me towards my goal to make a clean and yet comfortable to use UI ;)
