Alliance Battle Cry

Story Forum
Alliance as a word is silly and corny sounding. On top of that, copying the "For the Horde" motto would also be lame.

While brainstorming occasionally trying to come up with something interesting sounding, yet short and practical, and different enough from the horde's battle cry, I came up with "Honor the Blood". I am sure many will hate the idea, but post here with your own instead of trolling.

Background story (a very basic, non-detailed storyline):

The alliance are in turmoil, and they are breaking slowly apart. The leaders don't seem to be able to compromise in the direction they want the alliance to go. An impending dispersion of the alliance is imminent. Velen (he seems the most logical, but does not even need to be an alliance boss) gathers the alliance leaders, using reasoning, diplomatic solutions, and urging the need to stay together, rather than splitting into smaller, weaker kingdoms and letting the horde dismantle each race one at a time.

After gathering all the alliance leaders together at a vieled location in a last ditch effort to try to reunite the alliance, Velen finally convinces (someone with a more creative imagination than I will have to come up with these details) his peers to commit to a blood pact. Essentially binding dwarf, gnome, human, draenai, and elf together in a much deeper, more meaningful manner than before.

And "honor the blood" is born
Isn't that pretty much 'For blood and honor', which is already an Alliance battlecry?

pretty much this and, besides,For the Alliance came first, not For the Horde...

Its sad most ppl started their Warcraft journey in wc3 and knows nothing about wc2 or wc1.
Remember the Wrathgate.
I gotta point this out. I realize that "For the Horde" still sounds better but...

"For the Alliance" existed before "For the Horde". It's not copying "For the Horde".

Edit: Oh, someone already said that OH MY GOD WHY CAN'T WE DELETE POSTS.
For the alliance actually came from the blood elves when they were High elves.

...so it came from the high elves.
Glory to the alliance!

For Kvatch!

Remember Kvatch!

For the King!

For Lordaeron!

For honor, for freedom!
For Kvatch!

Remember Kvatch!

I like these two.
Oh and obviously "For the God-King".
I was always partial to 'Have Mercy!!' myself.
I think that we should just let our vastly superior music be out battlecry.
Remember the Wrathgate.

When fighting the Horde, this.

When fighting the Scourge:

REMEMBER LORDAERON!

When fighting Deathwing:

REMEMBER THE PARK!

When you're a rogue, this suffices:

I think that we should just let our vastly superior music be out battlecry.

I picture a dwarf (read: Dallana) standing on a cliff overlooking an Alliance army, singing out a moving piece. And then we kill everyone.

You're not good at this "resisting" thing. :P
Justinius the Harbinger at the Stairs of Destiny in Outlands will once in a while yell out "Behond the power of the Light! Grace and glory to the Alliance!"

So I've personally been using "Grace and glory to the Alliance!"
"Truth and Justice."
I think that we should just let our vastly superior music be out battlecry.

I was thinking more like this:

Far better than the series of gutteral grunts and drum abuse that make up Horde thematics.

I picture a dwarf (read: Dallana) standing on a cliff overlooking an Alliance army, singing out a moving piece. And then we kill everyone.

If that were to happen, I'd need a few other musically inclined dwarves to accompany me, because I found the perfect song:
