New beginner's macro tutorial help

UI and Macro
I'm kind of guessing most of the people that read this are pretty swell with macros already, given the forum.

I'm making a beginners macro guide that uses a different approach to get people started. I've taught a few pals how to make their own macros like this, so I tied it together to a basic tutorial.

If any of you are bored and want to give it a once over for kicks, the main thing I'm looking for before I go on my next edit pass is any scenario for a basic macro that none of my examples covered. Like if I had forgotten to ever mention cast sequences, etc.

Then I'll edit, give it a Cataclysm update check, and be done. Thanks :)

We already have an excellent, comprehensive guide which is on a wiki! No need to start from scratch. See my .sig for the link.

The new forums don't appear to allow sigs.

QFT, WoWpedia is how the old WoWWiki used to function, before they sold out. ;-)
There's nothing wrong with starting your own macro guide. I've done similar basic instructions for my guild's forums. However, as stated above, there's no sense in repeating EVERYTHING. Perhaps clarify a few points that are of importance in the way you do macros. This will help people in your guild to get a feel for things. Then direct them to a more comprehensive wiki ;)

It wasn't WoWWiki that sold out, it was their host, Wikia.
Out of curiosity..what do you mean sold out?
I haven't really noticed any difference on the site though I've switched over to the new one eventually.

Wikia was forcing site layouts and tons of ads down their throats, if I recall.
Ahhh I see.
K thanks.
