Bird eye view [Q]

General Discussion
I am sorry if the answer is an obvious one and I have failed at using Google. My question is, how do I toggle birds eye view? Not mouse scroll back, but a way back view for handling heroic and raid encounters a little more easily.

Thanks
As far as I know, you hit your "End" butten two or three times. "Home" reverses this.
You can scroll your mousewheel to zoom in or out. The max view range can be adjusted in the camera menu, under interface.

There's also an option there called smart follow or some such; You'll probably want to set that to "only horizontal while moving." That way, the camera will keep your custom elevations, but still swivel behind you when you move.

I'm sure you know how to drag the camera so it looks down on you...

Edit: As the above poster said, End will change between 3 or 4 preset camera elevations. You'll only need to do custom elevations if you're looking for a severe steeper-than-Wacraft 3-angle.

It's been a while since I did it, so I might be wrong, but if I recall correctly, the Home/End keys rotate you between a set of default camera-angles, from first-person view to wide-angle birdseye shot. They don't "lock" however, so moving the camera with the mouse will change them like normal mouse-camera changing does.
I believe I used a macro which set the camera very far back like this:

/script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax",50)

You can replace the 50 with another number. This still works.
You are all awesome /thanks
