Any news? I love having a 2 second delay on everything.
We're working on getting this addressed, I'll let you know when I find out more, but it's one of the things that is on our team's plate.

I have had the exact same issue since logging on after the new patch.
All other info is showing, just the home/world latency is saying 0. I know there is some lag there.. I can feel it during some boss encounters.

If it is mac related (/shrug) I'm playing on an iMac running 10.7.2. So far that's the only thing I've really picked up on. Game performance has been great with no crashes.

I'm pretty sure it's Mac-related - my girlfriend (same connection, same server, same everything, just on a windows7 machine) is having no issues at all, but I'm showing 0/0 latency for home and world on my Macbook, and certain things have become unplayably laggy since 4.3, particularly pvp and certain boss encounters.

Curious.
the 0/0 is just a display bug, you aren'ta ctually at bad latency (unless you were to begin with).

Curious Draenen, how bad is your connectoin, do you and GF play at same time in same raids by chance? like when you are lagging in a raid at that moment, can you look at her screen and see her not lagging, suggesting it's just your end and not your internet itself? Have you tried playing with "optimize network for speed" turned off? this option only affects BGs and raids which is why i ask, when it turned on, it makes BGs and raids use significantly more bandwidth then with it off, so turning it off BEFORE you zone into next bg and raid would provide good test data to that as well.

8+ Mb/s down, 3.5 Mb/s up. We play at the same time in the same raids, yes, and I can see her breeze through things that are lagging me out. It's possible it's a graphics card issue with the new raid, but I'm also lagging out places I never lagged out before, like EotS (or any other bg, really).

Turning off "optimize network for speed" doesn't seem to change anything for better or for worse; at best, it changes the lag from "frozen screen for 2 seconds at a time every few seconds" to "frozen screen from .5 second at a time continuously."

this is what i am having too, glad i found this thread. have done all the other usual things. hope this is figured out soon
so i take it nothing yet? i just logged on and still have the issue?
Been having the same problem since 4.3, 0 ms home 0ms world, 2 second. Mac book pro ftw. Hopefully they address it before tuesday sigh or its gona be a sad start to the new season for a lot of Mac users.
glad I found this thread. My latency is also not displaying anything but 0ms/0ms.

Thanks for the info.
We're still investigating and working on this. I'll try to keep posts about about any status changes about this.

This might be helpful: the lag happens anywhere where there are a bunch of people gathered at a time but apparently only cross-realm: battlegrounds lag out, but TB or the new DMF Island TB don't seem to.

EDIT: It happens in instances, too? So it doesn't affect my home server, but any time I'm on another server. Possibly lag from the influx of people running the new dungeons?

(Wild guessing happening here. Grains of salt for everyone!)
having the same problem also on a 2009 Macbook Pro. Another machine using the same everything as mine running Win7 doesn't have the 0/0/0 issue. I have had the issue since 4.3 and stay on my realm, no cross realm shenanigans. Also, sometimes it gets choppy and drops from a stable 40 fps (I set it to) to about 26.
Draenen, disable optimize network for speed, your problem sounds like it's that option specificly since that's the only option that effects instances but not world servers. Disable the option while you are NOT in an instance, then try it.

FPS issues have nothing to do with latency. It seems people have been using this thread for a dumping ground for a bunch of different issues. If you have an FPS issue, create a new thread, or crashing or any other issue not related to 0/0.

As for latency, post it in this thread http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3711331282 whatever details you can to get all the actual lag reports consolidated and seperate from the 0/0 display issue.

Now, it is possible, that the mac client, because it cannot detect latency properly, is reacting worse to existing problems, causing it to behave even worse then before. WoW client is coded to do the best it can with latency and compensate where possible but if it doesn't actually KNOW what latency is, it might be compensating badly and just be making it worse instead of better. However the actual problem causing the lag would still have to pre exist. This is only speculation and would need dev commentary. But I also think the issue only presents in situations where you were not 100% to begin with, so say 85% became 60%. I have yet to see anyone with a clean traceroute experiencing issues, so if 4.3 made it worse, it's possibly because the client is handling your pre existing conditions worse. That's what i believe anyways, and why it's not more widespread then it is.

I am also suffering from this issue since 4.3

Displays fps but home and world latency are always 0ms/0ms.

Running Lion 10.7.2 on an imac 12,2

Any ETA on a fix please guys?
No ETA yet, but we are working on getting this addressed.
