When does the Darkmoon Faire end? Anybody know?
11:59pm Pacific Time tomorrow.
Thanks

Is there any way to leave the Faire without using the Hearthstone?
Follow the main thoroughfare until you pass the petting zoo. Straight ahead on the docks are two portals: One to Stormwind and one to Thunder Bluff. :)
At the upper-right of your mini-map, click on the icon of today's date to open the in-game calendar, which shows start and end times for all game events.
Thanks a bunch :) I didn't know about that calendar either.
then in case you weren't aware it is the first week of every month unlike the once a year events

Does stuff like points earned carry over to the next month?
I was told that the tickets accumulate which means they do carry over.
Yes your tickets are a currency like honor or gold and won't be going anywhere until you spend them :D

Also, you can monitor how many tickets you have by checking the Currency tab on your Character window.
Thanks guys and gals.

For convoluted newbie reasons I am just learning about the Faire and all I knew before this thread was:

Alliance 85s seem to enjoy killing (lower level) Horde while they fish there.

And I was able to slowly build up the Faire currency if I went every day (3 days now for me).

I am off to get killed for fishing (maybe) :)
You can always ask a higher level guilding if they'd mind coming to your defense. I spend a lot of time playing escort to my lower level friends and guild memebers. :D

I am not getting killed enough to bother a friend or Guildie, but It does make me wish I had my own (good) 85 in my pocket for just such occasions :) and wonder what type of person enjoys constantly butchering an opponent who stands NO chance.
Darkmoon Faire is set to realm time, not necessarily Pacific Time.

Typically its either bored high-level players who just want something easy to kill (these are typically skilled players but are tired or otherwise unable to put out the effort needed to kill something of a higher level), OR very unskilled higher level players who can't kill anyone at their own level so they have to resort to killing lowbies.

There's also, on some servers, a very strong "if it's red it's dead" mentality, where anyone with a red character name is killed regardless of what level they are. This stems from the attitude that the Horde and Alliance are mortal enemies at war, and killing anyone (even lowbies) of the other faction is helpful to the war effort.
The boardwalk is considered a sanctuary zone. Unless I'm gravely mistaken, even on PvP servers you won't be able to be killed there by the opposing faction.

Of course this is only really useful if your fishing goal is the Sea Pony companion (which can be fished up from open water). If you're trying for the shipwreck debris pools, you'll have to deal with the contested areas of most of the island.
so It ended !@#$ so close 7 more tickets for dal rend sacred charge im so made
so It ended [bleep] so close 7 more tickets for dal rend sacred charge im so made

It happens for the first full week of every month, starting on sunday and going until midnight pacific time saturday night. The tickets are a currency that carries over.

So basically in three weeks, you do one set of dailies and you're set if you're only 7 tickets short.
