Upon the poster boards in all major capital cities, a red and gold silk flag is pinned to the background. Sealed in wax of a growing fire a parchment reads:

War tolls the bell over the eternal spring of Quel’thalas. The once peaceful glades of the Sin’dorei lay waiting in conflicts. The Thalassian Pass shattered under the quake of the Lich King and undead pillage and roam freely in the Ghostlands. Even now, Alliance partisans breech into our homes and attack our people. They put women and children to the sword and bring fire to what little we hold dear. We will stop them, we will be their shield, and the Sunguard will protect our homes from foes both foreign and domestic. We will be true, honest, and brave. We will be just, strong, and honorable. Our Oath to Quel’thalas never wavering, bound to our honor. The Sunguard will bring war to those threatening our home, and the Crimson Crusade will know no pause.

-Felthier Truefeather
Archon of the Sunguard

For three years the Sunguard has lead the way in the RP/PvP community with gripping store lines, epic battles, and everything in between. Our members enjoy a community of excellence, support, and respect. Bringing the WAR back into Warcraft, the Sunguard is a perfect place for those wanting to seek out glory, honor, and valor.

The guild is divided up into two major segments. The majority of the members make up the traditional aspect of the guild known as the Oathbound. These soldiers swear an oath of fealty to Quel’thalas and the betterment of their kin. The Oathbound are divided into different segments depending on their roles in battle.

The Knights, led by Arandur Brightsword is made up of the Death Knights, Paladins, and Warriors of the Oathbound Sunguard. They constitute our largest segment of soldiers and retainers who make up the bulk of our forces.

The Suncasters, led by Ikanis Blazewind, are the segment of Priests, Mages, Warlocks in the guild who make up ranged support and magistrate services. They have a long tradition of respect, power, and devotion unique to those of the arts.

Finally our Ranger division which is currently leaderless makes up the Pathfinders and Farstriders. Hunters and Rogues loyal to the cause of Quel’thalas will engage in gripping missions of assassinations, ambush, scouting, and espionage.

The second division of the Sunguard is our 101st Shadow Company. They are the merciless mercenaries that are contracted and run by the cunning Archkumori Siegebreaker. These non Oathbound soldiers are dedicated and powerful warriors eager to join the Sunguard in their cause. They come for various reasons, wealth, power, glory, and a chance to defend their homes with a mobile regiment of soldiers. They maintain individual sovereignty away from their ranks.

What our guild is like?

If you like to be part of a developing storyline then look right here! If you like to be part of an exceptional community then you have found such a place. If you like to PvP, RP, or do anything in between then the Sunguard if for you! For almost three years now the Sunguard has been a large part of the community here on Moonguard. We strive to bring quality role play, active events, and foster a growing PvP/RP community. Not only do we do our best to make you the best, we offer you outlets into other mechanics of the game not found in normal RP guilds.

What the Sunguard isn't?

We are not a PvP elite god guild. We do not force our members to do arena. We do not force them to raid. There are times when there are progressive storyline events that we require all online persons to participate. We do not allow god moding or any text based combat. We do not allow big egos, or damsels in distress. Even more we do not allow pacifists and those unwilling to defend their country. Even down the lowest level Sunguard members fight the Alliance.
Why should I join?

If you are looking for a group of dedicated players that strive for excellence, that want to build a community of RP/PvP. If you like to have fun and feel part of something bigger then you could get out of a normal game, then the Sunguard is your answer.

Who do I contact?

Felthier, Delaynee, Ashgar, Ikanis, and Arandur are all able to aid you in all things Sunguard, and help you with the application process.
Still feels odd to see Tiraus as an officer. What webs we weave.
