Lordaeron will rise again.

Simply stand in Deathknell, paladin. Lordaeron's rise happens even now... for Lordaeron and the Forsaken are one!

And when I do, it will be atop mounds of broken corpses, having seen your foul creations to their rest. The Light will not be denied.

Your ilk will rue the day they decided to make light of the Scarlet Crusade.

Le bump.

Oh Sangy, where have you been all my life?

What I mean by this is that I know where you used to be, but ever since that one time…

More on-topic, there will be more writing to put up around these parts soon.
Once I was like you...

I believed in the purity of the light, I believed that it could not fail the devout. I fought under the banner of the scarlet flame and dedicated my life to an ascetic devotion to the cause of the Crusade. I dedicated myself to retribution, I dedicated myself to purity, I dedicated myself to valor, I dedicated myself to Lordaeron.

When I fell at New Avalon, separated from my Scarlet brothers and sisters and slain by the true enemies of Lordaeron, I was lost in darkness until the day I awoke from a freshly opened grave in Deathknell. My body was rotting, my blood was cold, my heart no longer beat in my chest. I considered death, but something tied me to life, something tied me to Tirisfal and Lordamere, and Andorhal. I felt in my bones my devotion to Lordaeron was not spent.

As I wandered I came to realize, Lordaeron did die, but it arose from the ashes. I saw the walking corpses of the men and women I had protected in life, a nation of the lost, trying to find its way... And I realized, that for the last seven years, I realized I hadn't been reclaiming Lordaeron, I had been trying to kill it all over again.

Our kings and princes betrayed our people with their weakness and ambition. Only one has risen to defend Lordaeron in this new age of darkness. Victory to the Banshee Queen of Lordaeron. Power to the Forsaken.

Some of them are still asshats. But you have to take the bad with the good.

I think I killed you earlier this morning in TB. Either that or it was someone with an O in his name.
Welcome back, last I re-call . . . It was Maelstrom.
Bump!
What's your opinion about these fine people?

My mind is in flux about this contradiction!
It isn't what it looks like! I can explain!

... We don't talk about Northrend.

I just watched two people from separate "We are the Scarlet Crusade!" guilds kind of stop abruptly in front of each other and then sloooooowly inch past each other.

I was thoroughly amused, but it got me to wonder. How do you handle this? I think there's 3-5 "Scarlet Crusade" guilds on the server. How do you contend with their existence and lore while contending with game existence and lore.

I remember the days of when Scarlet Redemption was around.

They would send Draenei Death Knights to go and claim they were heretics.

The fact that multiple guilds exist does not necessitate contention amongst them. Each guild is entitled to their own interpretation of lore (provided they adhere to the proper conventions of roleplay), and where contradictions happen, they can be resolved. If anything, it seems highly likely that there would be several self-contained cells of survivors given the fractious and disorganized nature of the current Crusade, each operating independently of the others.

I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you meddling gnomes, and your Lil' Deathwing!
*faints in fear*

The Scarlet March used to be a guild four-five or so years ago on the Moon Guard realm. They were a vicious, violently racist (ICly), strictly all-human guild that harassed my guild's and several other guild's events. This just gave me a scare seeing it here! Thought I had escaped!

Ha! My MG friend was a high ranking member of that guild.

Was it Errigal?

Wait, no, that wouldn't make sense.
