[Transmog] How to RP a Blood Knight

World’s End Tavern: Role-play and Fan Fiction
The Blood Knights are an elite group of Blood Elves Paladins who made their debout in TBC. They can be seen as members of Silvermoon, Kael'thas' forces, Illidari and even the Scourge.

This thread was made focused on all the Blood Elves out who would like to RP a Blood Knight, so let's check the gear you will need in order to RP as a Blood Knight:

Silvermoon / Kael'thas Forces:
(Blizzard made a wrong decision and kept players from getting the Level 60 PvP sets, except if you are 1 in a million and transfered your alliance paladin to the horde side, so basically we will have to do with it and find other itens, even tho they won't be as good as the PvP sets)

Weapons: Any 1H or 2H that matches the set colors / Blood Knight Defender (H Ramparts drop) / Bloodforged Guard (Shadowmoon quest reward)

Head: Helm of Infinite Visions (if you didn't finish the Hellfire quest) / Faceguard of Determination (260 Justice points, sold by G'eras, NPC in Shatt)
Chest: Breastplate of the Warbringer (quest reward in Nagrad) / The Exarch's Protector (quest in Auchenai Crypts)
Tabard: The Blood Knight Tabard, of course
Shirt: Ebon Filigreed Doublet (vendor in Dalaran)
Gloves: Gauntlets of the Chosen (sold by Scryers Quartermaster)
Belt: Avenger's Waistguard (Halaa Quartermaster)
Legs: Avenger's Legplates (Halaa Quartermaster)
Shoulders: There is no perfect matching shoulder, but, in game you can see 2 Blood Knight NPCs wearing 2 different shoulders - Dark Iron Shoulders or Darksoul Shoulders
Cloak: Blood Knight War Cloak (Sold by G'eras, Shatt NPC)
Servant of Illidan:
(This one is the easiest to get, but the set color won't be 100% equal to the NPCs, but again, we do what we can)

Weapon: Blood-Tempered Ranseur (no longer avaiable) / [WILL EDIT LATER]

Hear: No head item
Shoulder: Crusader's Ornamented Spaulders / Crusader's Scaled Shoulders / Crusader's Ornamented Spaulders
Chest: Crusader's Ornamented Chestplate / Crusader's Scaled Chestpiece
Shirt: No need
Hands: Gauntlets of Divine Blessings (Magister Terrace drop) / Crusader's Ornamented Gloves (Rep vendor) / Crusader's Scaled Gauntlets (Rep Vendor)
Legs: Crusader's Scaled Legguards / Crusader's Ornamented Leggings
Belt: Coldrock Girdle
Boots: Coldrock Sabatons (Not the perfect match, but this will do)
Cloak: Blood Knight War Cloak (Sold by G'eras, Shatt NPC)
Tabard: Green Trophy Tabard of the Illidari
This one is by far the hardest, It will require some gold investments and will require you to run several times ICC and Trial of the Crusader in order to get the lootd. But, it's worth all the trouble, since you will be a Darkfallen Blood Knight and most likely have an unique transmog in your server.

Darkfallen Blood Knight

[First of all, you must be a Death Knight]

Head: [Will edit later]
Shoulder: Rusted Bonespike Pauldrons (Marrowgar Heroic)
Chest: Chestplate of Unspoken Truths (Justice Points)
Cloak: No cloak
Shirt: No shirt
Gloves: Gauntlets of Overexposure (Justice Points)
Belt: Lich Killer's Lanyard (Justice Points)
Legs: Puresteel Legplates (Blacksmith and a lot of gold)
Boots: Protectors of Life (Blacksmith and a lot of gold)

Weapon: Edge of Agony (ToC drop)
Nice sets!

Why is this? Lore purposes or just because you say so? I would think rp allows us to be anything we wish to be, such as a warrior IC-ly being a farmer. (I understand that they should all be DK's due to them being Scourge but what would stop a living Blood Knight from having taken the armor from one of the dead Darkfallen?

Darkfallen Blood Knight

The set looks cool and all, but I would caution against RPing a Darkfallen. At the absolute very least, they are a controversial character to RP. Most players (and really, all evidence points to this) believe they have been completely killed off with the fall of Arthas and will OCCly call you out on this. Even if they aren't all dead you would be so hated ICly by everyone in the entire world that you would end up RPing all alone in some frozen cave out in the boonies of Northrend.
Aren't all DK's supposed to use their runesword because that's where they draw their power?

Skin colour.

This.

They're canonically defunct.

Defunct: extinct or no longer existing.

I'm sure there are maybe one or two Darkfallen left. You do encounter minor Darkfallen in ICC, so it's possible that they escaped.

That being said, their only plausible potential is to serve as an antagonist for a storyline. And even then, only around northern Lordaeron and Northrend.

Wait.. Why would someone necro this thread?

Of course it's possible.

Only two Darkfallen in lore haven't been killed in lore, and they're the two Blood Princes who helped Arthas raise Arugal in Silverpine. Haven't been seen since, though.

You can get the sets, you just can't transmog from them. There are transmogable replica sets available in Netherstorm, but you would have to have the old Grandmaster PVP rank acheivement grandfathered into your account to buy them.
I use this set for an alternate BK look. http://www.wowhead.com/list=5308924/alternate-blood-knight-armor#0-equipment-set
