Dodge VS Mastery in MoP

Druid
Wouldn't the armor benefit's be greater then the dodge? seeing as how dodge will DR against the boss, while the DR you get with armor is only in how much you gain from each point?

I am thinking that stat priority looks like Stam/Mastery>hit/exp>crit>haste seeing as how agi becomes less of a gain over all of tanks.
Dodge will still reduce slightly more damage than Mastery for stuff on the combat table.

But Mastery will affect every attack that doesn't go through armor, and makes it easier to swap gear to Feral.

Kind of up to you really.

How do the two scale? Is Mastery going to be superior to Dodge at some point in the expansion?

Kind of makes me feel like it will be. Seeing as we gear up further in the tiers, the gear will gain more agility (yes even though agi gives less dodge/ap in MoP). I just feel like being able to take a harder hit (with more mastery) will be better seeing as you will be gaining more agility (more dodge) with gear as it comes along.

Though the exact opposite can be said as well. you will be getting more mastery on gear as the progression goes along. So I think its probably more of a preference to the player.

Very unlikely, as Dodge scales very very well - almost too well.

OTOH, you probably still want to go for Mastery for most fights in T14, because it is a guaranteed damage reduction, which makes it more attractive than Dodge, even though Dodge is slightly better for overall damage reduction.
