stuck on checking for updates

Technical Support
Been stuck on Checking For Updates for all three Blizzard games on my computer:

Starcraft 2, WoW, and Diablo 3.

This problem started on Tuesday (right after the patch). I've tried many "fixes" that have been rumored to work but none of them have worked.
ALLOT of people are having similar issues... Haven't been able to play since Tuesday... Nothing like this has happened to me before..

and NOTHING has fixed it

.
Try this:

1. Make sure that Windows is set to show hidden files.

Here's how to do that: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Show-hidden-files

2. Navigate to the C:\ProgramData folder and delete the Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment folders.
3. Launch WoW.
Me too, I had to reinstall WoW cause I did a factory default to my computer and when I wanted to download WoW, I got the World of Warcraft Setup enUS, I double clicked it and got a "Checking for updates" and it's been stuck like that for 6+ hours.

I am having a similar issue. When I first start my computer, I can click on the wow icon, it will pop up the little World of Warcraft Launcher thing with the agent.exe and it will immediately zip through, find no updates, and let the normal launcher load. I can press play, and the game loads as it should.

If for any reason I should happen to close that WoW window, when I go to reopen it, It opens the first World of Warcraft Launcher.exe thing and stays at Checking for Updates... .. ... .. It never actually goes anywhere, nor does it pop up an error. I let it sit there overnight at one point, came back and it was STILL checking. I have to completely restart my computer to get it to work again. I did delete the battlenet folder everyone recommended, doesn't aid the situation at all.

If anyone has any sort of fix, it would be appreciated.
still not fixed.
I have the same issue, been going for 4 days now!
