Lower fps after installing SSD

Games, Gaming and Hardware
I just bought a new laptop which did not include a SSD so I decided to buy the samsung 830 series SATA 6GB/s. After installing it, I noticed my FPS had droped from 58-90fps on ultra settings to about 42 fps. Before installing the recovery disk I did switch it from raid0 to AHCI. I've also updated my videocard to the lastest version 306.23. I'm pretty sure the power is not coming from the battery because when I unplug the adapter the fps drops to around 5. If anyone knows why and how to fix the problem please help me out, I'd very much appreciate it.

MSI GT70 0ND-225US Gaming Notebook

- 17.3" Full HD Anti-glare Display, NVIDIA GTX 675M 4GB GDDR5
- Bluetooth, HDMI 1.4, USB3.0, Steel-Series Gaming Keyboard

Revert the video drivers and see if this issue is fixed.

You can download and run AS SSD, and compare the results with other 830 owners (can find tons of them online, as well as from reviews).
