A bit confused on how the Combat PVE rotation

Rogue
I read the stickied thread on combat pve and the rotation mentioned that we use Rupture again, but exactly how does the rotation work?

Is it Revealing Strike - Slice and Dice - Sinister Strike to 4-5 combo points - Rupture or do you Sinister Strike to 1 CP and get Rupture up immediately?

Also, Killing Spree with first tier Insight, etc?

Yes.

Sinister Strike to 4-5 combo points

SS to 5 for your finishers. Anticipation offers another layer of complexity here by allowing you to pool CPs to use in deeper stages of BG. You can continue to SS past 5 points to 5 CPs plus 4-5 points of anticipation to push your finishers into a higher BG state. Example, you have no BG and you SS to 10 total CPs. You are now in Med. Insight and haven't used any finishers in Shallow Insight at all. Drop 1 finisher in Med. Insight, you are now at 5 CPs and 0 Insight. SS to 5 Insight again, you are now in Deep Insight and can drop two 5 point finishers back to back.

The goal with rupture is not to have 100% uptime on it or get it going right away. You will use Rupture in place of Eviscerate provided a few conditions are met: You are not energy capping or going to energy cap right after (example, you put up a rupture but switch targets right after and cap energy while moving - just Eviscerate here instead since Rupture wouldn't have saved you any energy), you are not using BF, and Rupture will tick the full 24 secs. Much like Cata, you can probably skip using rupture entirely and not notice much of a dps difference if you have trouble using it correctly.

Yes, this hasn't changed. Use your CDs as early as possible to so you can start bringing them back up with Restless Blades unless specific fight mechanics dictate something different.
