Because the Lordaeron citizens that fled to Stormwind during the third war are cowards that abandoned their homeland at the first sign of danger.

Those who died in defense of the kingdom are the rightful heirs.

Because being undead doesn't mean you're not still human, you're just an undead human.

Because the Forsaken are the heirs of the kingdom due to the fact we were the citizens that could not flee.

And if that's not enough for you, those with the might to hold the land, own the land.
I'll bite...

The forsaken, who are horde members, occupy and control the city. Therefore it is not human territory.

Possession is nine-tenths of the law. They conquered it and now Lordaeron is theirs.

Eating Plagued grain =/= Valiant defence of the kingdom

They own it by right of conquest, nothing more.
Sure, you can have it back if you want -

but good luck EVER getting rid of that smell of rotting flesh and the Plague.

Seriously, go visit - the stench is overwhelming and it'll never be inhabitable for anyone who is not Undead again.

You must be forgetting all the soldiers that fought the Scourge to defend Lordaeron. It's ok, you were floating around on a giant turtle when it happened. ;)

I don't think you're giving enough credit to food testers!
The kingdom of Lordaeron belongs by right to the forsaken, no question there, the region of lordaeron however, is a different story.

This. Failing at eating bread doesn't entitle you to a kingdom.

Being able to hold it with plague and stuff does.

Still ignoring the soldiers that fought to defend Lordaeron against the Scourge.
