"Laosy" quest design

Quests
The "Laosy Scouting" Golden Lotus daily. Really? Dozens of people all looking around for ONE hard-to-see guy in a cage, which respawns slowly? And to make matters worse, the rest of the GL dailies are gated until you complete this one along with the rest of the first five, making it so you can't really skip it uniess you want to forego all the ones that come after it? Encouraging people to act like jerks when someone wants to free him and gets stopped by a mob, so they can swoop in and free him when you finally *do* find him?

That is, shall I say, rather laosy.
Finding him isn't too hard. Flying around with a "/target Lao" macro and then looking for the target indicator on the mini-map once you have him targeted works pretty quickly.
The Pandaria Daily Achievement counter isn't working correctly either.
Would be a lot nicer to have all of the Golden Lotus Daily Quest Hubs open. That way you might find out what types of Dailies are fun.

Be that as it may, a fair number of MOP dailies are set up to be particularly excruciating. And not just dailies, but specific tradeskills, and the way factions run. I am unsure why MOP seems to be the expansion to require massive amounts of annoyance and time spent online; it's bad quest design, plain and simple. I really don't know what the developers were thinking with a lot of this content.
