Updated Raid Schedule Heart of Fear & Terrace

To help raiders prepare their schedules for next week, we wanted to give everyone a brief heads-up that the Normal mode Heart of Fear will be debuting alone on Tuesday, and the Normal mode Terrace of Endless Spring will now open two weeks following the release of Normal Heart of Fear.

To help players focus on tackling these new encounters without feeling overwhelmed, we’ve decided to stagger the release of the two remaining raid zones. Heart of Fear should prove to be a challenging zone that will take the typical group some time to master, and players must defeat the Grand Empress Shek’zeer at the end of Heart of Fear before they may move on to Terrace of Endless Spring once that zone unlocks.

The unlock schedule for Looking For Raid modes for Heart of Fear and Terrace of Endless Spring is unaffected by this change. Heroic Heart of Fear will still be accessible to players who have cleared the zone on Normal difficulty.

*Updated the release time for Terrace of Endless Spring to clear up some confusion.
So will Terrace normal and LFR be deploying the same week then?
>_>
Normal mode Terrace of Endless Spring will now open in the weeks following.

Any clue as to which of the following weeks?
We'll be posting an updated schedule when Heart of Fear goes live next week like we did for Mogu'shan Vaults. It should be two weeks between Heart of Fear and Normal Terrace opening.

Yeah, can we get an exact date on this? Will it just be a one week delay?
Why do you continue to gate this whole tier when you promised to stop gating raid content?

They're only gating it behind timed releases so people have time to enjoy existing content without feeling like they "have" to zerg the content to progress on to the next. Trust me, most bleeding-edge raid guilds already have Mogu'shan Vaults on farm, and they're ready to push new content. The rest of us will have these raids to run at our own paces.

It's significantly better than gating it behind attunement quests, trust me.
So to clarify now:

LFR terrace will be open for all on it's normal schedule week after heart of fear normal?
So LFR terrace will be open one week before normal terrace?

Also i thought a lot of the major reason LFR was opening AFTER normal modes was to reduce the raider crowd in there? Won't LFR opening BEFORE normal be counter to that purpose? (granted, that purpose failed anyways, since we get more VP doing LFR than anything else, heck, even more VP then actual heroic raiding gives, so raiders will always run LFR anyways in addition to normal raiding to get their valor cap the quickest outside of doing dailies for factions they no longer need).

So basically:
Next week. Heart of fear normal
Week after next, Heart of fear LFR AND terrace LFR (heart of fear heroic, if you cleared normal first week)
Week after that, Terrace Normal

Can we put some dates to this post?

If I understand you correctly:

October 30th: Heart of Fear Normal Mode Available

November 6th: Heart of Fear Heroic and LFR Modes Available

November 13th: Terrace of Endless Spring Normal Mode Available (must have cleared Heart of Fear)

November 20th: Terrace of Endless Spring Heroic and LFR Modes Available (must have cleared Heart of Fear)

Is that correct?
So in other words because 5.1 won't have another raid in it the 2 remaining ones will be staggered to artificially make the content seem like it lasts longer, or 5.2 with a new raid will still be 5-6 months out and this makes it seem like the gap is smaller.
November 20th: Terrace of Endless Spring Heroic and LFR Modes Available (must have cleared Heart of Fear)

not correct, she said LFR is unaffected, so that should be opening same week as heart of fear LFR. that's way i read it. so LFR terrace will open 1 week before normal even does.

Having to stop 20 or 25% through ONE raid because of gating sucked, but having entire raid zones open like this within the same tier is actually kind of nice.

Three raid zones at the same time is a lot. Can you imagine doing dailies every single day, and farming for raid consumables, and then raiding every single night trying to clear all of them in one single week? This is a nice way to tone down the pressure.

You just killed pugs.
So if all the LFR instances are releasing at once, isn't that a bit much? 3 new ones to queue up for, I thought they would be staggered over 3 weeks.

Same with HoF, you have to clear MSV to start on that place.
Thank you, Blizzard, for staggering raid tiers. A huge relief for 9-5 workers that enjoy progression raiding as well.

Hardly, most decent pugs require achievements anyway for proof of familiarity. How is requiring they complete the previous dungeon any different?

It worked just fine in TBC for pugs, it'll work just fine here as well.
Can we get a blue to confirm that LFR Terrance is going to be out 1 week BEFORE normal terrace?
