Headset Recommendation

Ravenholdt
My headset seems to have broken. Again. Any recommendations of a good one to get as a replacement?
Wired.
Razer Carcharias

I have it, know/met a surprising amount of people around on WoW/Leauge/SC2 that use it and like it.

Also, can't really go wrong with the steelseries siberia

If you're looking for something cheap just pick up a logitech. Very rarely will they not meet expectations and last pretty damn long save that you don't run over the wires all the time.

^ This is my headset. Cheap, fantastic sound quality, I've had no issues with it yet. If you don't like the big headsets, my girlfriend is a fan of this:

We tend to go for budget priced items, but we're both very pleased with the sound quality we get. Good luck finding something that works for you!

I second this. The audio quality is great, it's comfortable, it's durable (mine has survived multiple cats chewing on the cord and countless falls), the microphone is also excellent. I work from home and a deal with a lot of clients over Skype, rather than traditional landlines, and I never worry about sound quality when I'm using this headset.
Alternatively, you could pick up great headphones and a very cheap microphone that gets the job done well.

I'm rocking a pair of AKG K44's with a cheep mic I got from the dollar store.
I use this one: http://steelseries.com/products/audio/steelseries-siberia-v2

It's solid. Good sound quality and stuff.

Razer produces quality gear, if its your goal to jack the volumn up so you can hear the slight sounds of a rogue prancing around you in stealth...go with a Razer Carcharias. It always lets me know when a rogue is about to strike so I can pucker up...

Its what I use and I have enjoyed its quality...though it is pricy.
After my 3rd headset bit the dust, I thought "I never want to buy another headset again."

So I bought this thing - http://en-de.sennheiser.com/pc-350

and so far, so good. Super-comfortable, great sound, and the mic is great.

Gonna have to disagree with that. My very first razer product, a keyboard, was shipped already broken.
Geez. 179 euro. Good-looking headset though.
