Streaming Launcher Failure Patch 5.1

Mac Technical Support
I try to stream the 5.1 patch onto my mac and after about 5 minutes at staying at 0.0% it says, Failed to download a required file. Please check your internet and try again. I have tried restarting my computer, using the wifi and the landline, as well as just closing the downloader and opening it again. I have internet as I can post on here, watch youtube, go on Facebook ect. Any help would be much appreciated!
I've seen this mainly happen on University/College/Work networks that have additional network security configurations that can cause the file to be blocked.

  • Are you on this type of network?
  • Have you ever downloaded from this network?

Yes I am on a University Network. I had started the game client download at my home over thanksgiving break. I had about 4.4 GB left on the download when I came back to the university and that remaining download took about 10 minutes. Don't know if patch and game clients are different?
Can you do me a favor?

Can you post your latest AgentError.log? This should be located in /Users/Shared/Battle.net/Agent/Agent.1363 and the format should be AgentErrors-YYYY/MM/DD-[Random Numbers].log .

Make sure you remove any personal information, like computer/username from the log.

Agent-20121128-104714955.log
AgentDownload-20121128-104714955.log
Agent-20121128-104648031.log
AgentDownload-20121128-104648031.log

These all took place at the same time? Is this what you were looking for?
Hrm, that isn't the logs i'm looking for.

Can you send me your whole folder?

Obtaining Battle.net Logs
    1. Navigate to /Users/Shared
    2. Right-click the Battle.net folder and select Copy Battle.net
    3. Right-click anywhere on the Desktop and select Paste item.
    4. Go into each sub folder (Agent, Agent.[build], Client, Blizzard Launcher.[build], Setup) in the new Battle.net folder on your desktop and delete the all following apps:
  • Any Agent.app (the application itself)
  • Any Blizzard Launcher.app (the application itself)
  • Error Reporter
  • Any World of Warcraft, Diablo III or StarCraft II Setup files
  • 5. Now right-click the Battle.net folder and select Compress "Battle.net"

Now you can email the compressed (zip) file to macsupport@blizzard.com. This way I have all your logs and can investigate further. Make sure you put the URL and thread title in the body so I can know what issue we're talking about.

I have the exact same problem. But I am not on a University network. Was there a solution?
