@Death Knight QQ

Arenas
- Not weak.
- Highest consistent damage
- Plenty of up time
- No survival issues. It is a matter of learning to play. Stop asking for buffs and make do with what you have, QQing for buffs has made this game stupid easy to play.

No, I didn't lose to any DKs recently. I'm informing you that they are fine, and if they receive any buffs, they will become better than Warriors. As you all know, Warriors are very strong right now.

Hunters aren't overpowered. They're fine. Maybe if you 1800 S11 heroes actually knew how to prevent preventable damage, this game wouldn't be going to sh*t.

Oh, and I've barely touched BM since MM became a little closer to the viability as BM was.

I'm also calling out all of you kids that are going to QQ about hunters again a couple seasons from now when MM damage is high because of our really good weapon damage scaling.

In fact, I believe that Anti-Magic Shell is too strong an ability for such a great class as the Death Knight. Blizzard should seriously consider giving it to Warlocks. Perhaps to replace the Blood Fear talent, hm? *sip*
dk survivability is fine if you're comparing them to the ideal state of balance the game SHOULD be in...

with the current burst of warriors (yes, even after 5.1) and wizards in general, dks ARE weak.

but i agree that crying for buffs won't solve anything. overbuffing is a large part of what got us in this mess of a season.

But we need a little buff to deal with melee, maybe boneshield being baseline.

You need a great healer and a DPS who is above average at their job to be successful as a DK. Problem is, great healers and DPS who are above average don't want to play with a DK because, DK is a weak when compared to other classes.
Monks and rogues are the only two classes that are as good as us.
If other classes didn't deal so much damage within a 4 second span, we'd be looking better. As it stands DKs just need a few tweaks.

  • Bone Shield baseline.
      (4 charges, -20% damage. Glyph for 2 more charges but only reduces physical damage).
  • Snare/root break on Death's Advance.
      (read:not immunity).
  • Replace Asphyxiate with old Desecration AE snare in the tree.
  • Strange on 1 minute cooldown, 5 second silence, 25 yrd range, no GCD, no rune cost.
      (at most 20 RP).
  • Lookin' good.
    DKs are fine.....DURING Anti-Magic Shield

    Ok, seeing as ferals are immune to everything, warlocks have blood fear, warriors get heroic strike, and mages have frost bomb burst, Heres the list of things dk's need to be back to competitive
    IT Massivly buffed
    DND needs to spam deathcoils not dring with eachother
    DW
    Summon gargoyle at t3 talent point, pet at t5
    Corpse explosion back to its full glory, (10k in wrath, so 140k now)
    Blood Plague removes all hots
    raise ally usable in arena except as a ghoul, that hits harder then rogues, and has a 5 sec stun
    revive as a ghoul when you die
    hungering cold at t3 talents
    Desecration
    chains of ice roots for 1 sec, then 90, 80 and so on
    ibf 1 min cd, 50% damage reduction, not usable while stunned
    unbreakable armor reducing all damage by like.... 15k now
    gnaw 30 sec cd
    leap usable on allies
    the aura presences thingys
    SS all shadow damage
    Sudden doom procs from oh and mh swings

    I think that covered it, I probably missed something, its been a few years.
