Can't get past level 85 on the Panda Trial?

General Discussion
So I have the Mist of Pandaria trial.. see if I wanted to come back.
And I can't level past 85.
What exactly is the point of the trial if I can't do the new content?
The trial offers you the ability to go into Pandaria, you can gain xp up until right before hitting 86. It's called a trial for a reason. If you'd like to go over 85, you'll have to buy the actual expansion.

That's very intentional, to avoid you locking the character should you choose not to upgrade. Its meant to give you a taste of the content, nothing more.
You can do the first dungeons and get a taste of pandaria. I didn't see the problem when i was on the trial at all.
I just assumed it was a 10 day free trial of full content.. There was no mention of it being restricted.
Why do I need 10 days to play 3 hours of content?
leveling a panda from 1 to 85 doesn't take 3 hours.

edit : I say that but i'm not even certain pandaren is available to trial...

From the FAQ...
What content do I have access to during the 10-day free trial?

The trial will have access to all of the expansion content, including the new Monk character class, and Mists of Pandaria-exclusive areas such as the Jade Forest and more. These new zones are recommended for characters who have reached level 85. While you can complete Mists of Pandaria quests and earn powerful new items, any characters you play during the trial will stop gaining experience at one point below level 86.

All of the new expansion trials have functioned exactly like this.
Because you read Everything you agree to on video games eh?
K.

Playing a Panda isn't experiencing the new content, its playing the old game with a new skin.
What about the monk?
It makes perfect sense, if you actually use your head
The monk wouldn't be the reason I payed 30 dollars for a game.
I want to see what the new island is like, new factions, etc.
You guys are quote the FAQ all day, it doesn't make a difference.
I just don't think the trial shows me why I'm suppose to want this expac.

If your not gonna read about something your gonna use you shouldn't be surpized when you hit restrictions.
What did you expect? You get to have a permanent level 86 character and you can't even get to level 86 content?

Use your noggin' there big guy...

So basically, you want and think you can view all content from Pandaria for free and within 10 days?......................................................................................................... LOL

Sounds like you want to try everything out in the xpac and see all there is to see.

This is not what a trial is.
Its not so much surprise, just disagreement at this point.

why should a trial give you the whole exspantion? (many trials from many games restrict "trial" modes... this isn't new)
Oh, I didn't realize you wrote the definition of a Free Trial.
