Music that just makes you cry

Movies, TV and Entertainment
In a somewhat emo theme I thought this would be interesting. Also my itunes is a cruel thing.

Haven't been having the best time of my life lately. I have my itunes on random. ( Insert Shaun of the Dead quote here )

And then this pops up:

In a "OH CMON!" reaction my eyes just immediately started watering up.

*hugs Garrus action figure* :(
I probably would never admit this even to personal, IRL family or friends... Pretty much the end track from Chrono Trigger (To Far Away Times), as well as the one from Super Mario RPG (Looking at Dreams Through A Window, I think it's called).

There's also the icy-world music from Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse from SNES.

All these remind me of my childhood, and mine's too sad and painful to handle these days. My life has been screwed up so bad over time. And too many things that once were, that were just.... I don't know the proper words to describe it.

Flushed down the drain. Shot to hell... in a nutshell.
Standing On The Moon, by the Grateful Dead.

Standing on the moon
with nothing left to do
A lovely view of Heaven
but I'd rather be with you.
The Swans - Blind. Pure despair and self-loathing in musical form. Quite possibly the most depressing song I've ever heard. Most stuff by Swans and Angels of Light would qualify. Michael Gira seems to be a very troubled person.

For more sadness, check out Current 93, especially the albums "Soft Black Stars" and "Sleep Has His House."

Anything by Joy Division also fits the bill, with "Closer" probably being the most miserable, although the distinction between that and "Unknown Pleasures" is like the difference between midnight at the bottom of a mine shaft and a cloudy moonless night.
A friend of mine was giving me a ride in her new Jeep. A song started playing from the CD she had called "Goodbye My Lover" by James Blunt. She then went on to tell me a story about how her father-in-law just had his wife passed away and he chose to play it at the funeral because it summed up his feelings perfectly. As she was telling me this and eyes started to water and I nearly broke down. Such a sad song especially when you can connect it to a story.
That song that plays in Twilight Princess after the third boss, when you go back to Hyrule Castle. You know the one.
</3 ;_;
And Exile Vilify from Portal 2. Especially when you hear it in-game.
Resident Evil Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4 - Save room theme

They just sound so... sad. :(

So sad but SAFE
Blue October - The Feel Again (Stay)

Hits wayyyyyyyy too close to home.
Christina Perri - The Lonely

There's a song by Days Away called "T. Kline's Decline" that always makes me think of driving around empty streets in my hometown late at night. It doesn't make me cry, but it does fill me with a very deep sense of loneliness and despair.

Ocarina of Time's opening screen. So much nostalgia I tear up.

I don't tear up but yes, all of the nostalgia.

I tend to cry when I see/hear "Didn't know I love you so much" from Repo!

Every. Damn. Time.

Goths or not, it's just so damn heart wrenching & this is with people. Usually I just cry over animal deaths in movies.

Other than the last 3rd of Les Mis. I made it that far in before all of the feelings.

I don't know if the soundtrack alone would make me cry or not, but the movie did.

Also I guess the opening 15 mins/music of Up.

SO. MANY. FEELINGS.
