Shield Wall macro w/Elegion not working

UI and Macro
Post Limit:
#showtooltip Shield Wall
/equip (shield)
/cast Shield Wall
/equipset (swords)

This macro worked with mh lfr kilrak and oh lfr elegion. When I replaced lfr elegion with nm elegion it stopped working. The equipment switches fine and Shield wall goes on cd but I get niether the animation or the buff. Tried switching back to lfr elegion and it wont work either now. Maybe the macro gets confused because now I have two different versions of elegion with the exact same name?? Tried putting one in the bank but still wont work. Tried putting lfr version in void storage but it says "you cant do that right now". Something really strange is going on with this weapon.

Thanks All
Are "(shield)" and "(swords)" placeholders or are you literally using parentheses?

Make an equipset for the shield and call that instead of calling the shield by itself.
it's definitely not the way he's typing out the macro. I have a different macro set type and shield wall just in general doesn't work during combat. The second I get out of combat it works fine.
#showtooltip Shield Wall
/equip (Sword)
/equip (Shield)
/cast Defensive Stance
/cast Shield Wall

That is my macro. You need to make sure you have the 1H sword there before the shield because it will not allow you to equip a 2H and a Shield.

I also added the defensive stance in there because of the 15% damage reduction (For Arms and Fury) and 25% for Protection.

I would key-bind your sword to another key or macro it into a spell you want to use to cancel your shield wall. The reason is because if you hit this key again by accident with Shield Wall up you don't want to cancel it.
