The Sunwell is a mix of Light and Arcane.....

And dumping a Lich in it turned in into a fount of darkness and shadow. It notably did NOT give Kel'Thuzad light powers.

The Sunwell wasn't infused with holy magic at the time.

It was only Arcane back then.
If it were, it would likely have completely failed to bring him back as a lich.
That is why the Blood Knights were so powerful compare to the Human Paladins.

And if they want to mix their Arcane magic with Light they could create a Light and Arcane(Arcane is absolutly necessary to raising dead) based Undead army(who due to feeling and tasting the rotting of their bodies would be susceptible to Arcane enslavement).

Undead and evil are totally different, you can be evil and wield the light but can't be undead.
Velen was once like a brother to a couple of guys who run around the cosmos fancying themselves the overlords of the Burning Legion.

If he wasn't such a damn nice guy he could probably level a city just by drawing it in the sand with his finger.

Velen didn't get a massive power boost from Sargeras.

He may have been their equal BEFORE the Legion came, but now he's a gnat on a horse's !@# compared to KJ and Archimonde.

Er, yes you can. Undead can wield the Light.

It just hurts like hell and would probably drive you mad over time.

Velen is not anywhere NEAR Archimonde or KJ's power. Full stop......End of Story,
The light has a conscious of it' own.
In Ashbringer Comics it talked to Zabra Hexx, so it's not just raw power.
Naaru have a habit of talking to people who weild the Light(like Turalyon).

You reminded me that the Sunwell is still infused with holy magic right now but it isn't being used for anything really.

What I wanna know is why is the Sunwell and current Well of Eternity not really being used for anything. Why are there always evil bad guys trying to summon !@#$ out of them but none of the good guys have tried to summon something good through them? Why does the Bronze dragonflight still posses two vials of water from the original WoE? We know Nozdormu gets corrupted eventually so why do we allow his flight to hold onto those vials? And why hasn't he given the Night Elves their immortality back?

Anyway more on topic.

You wanna access the full power of the light? This is my suggestion. Take the Kirin Tor, Cenarion Circle, Argent Crusade, and just about every major magic user in the world. Now have them all funnel their power into the Sunwell / WoE and see what happens.

Except we haven't seen Velen actually fight. Nor is destructive strength the only sign of power. Both Archimonde and Kil'jaeden lack the power of vision.
