Hi, I'm the raid lead and guild master of Remnant from Lightbringer server. <Remnant> is a progression guild that is semi-hardcore currently raiding 10 mans. We think it’s time to go back to 25 mans and can offer you an immediate core spot. We are currently 4/12N and will push to clear to get the stage for heroic modes. Going back to 25 mans will give more incentive, as well as a more flexible raid group able to tackle fights with gimmicks.

Server Info: We are NOT a dying server. We are a high population PVE server.

Schedule: Tuesday –Wednesday -Thursday raiding days, raiding from 6:30 to 9:30 pm PDT. We have optional clean-up, progression nights. As well as would like to start alt runs on off-nights.

Local Defense is currently looking for skilled players. LD has been around since 2004 and is one of the oldest raiding guilds on Ner'zhul. Raid days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:30-11:00PM(PST) for our 25 man.

Current 25 man progress is as follows.
11/16 Heroic modes tier 14
12/12 Normal tier 15 working on Heroic modes now

We are always looking for skilled players with interest in progression.

Mission Statement

Our priority first and foremost is to progress. Above all we seek to see and complete the hardest possible content in the game. While we respect the fact that raiders have lives outside of the game, attendance and skill award first priority in raid.

Requirements

Skill:

If you cannot dps/heal/tank while moving out of things, look somewhere else. Since we limit our 25 man content to three days per week, those three days must count. In addition, your gear/spec are your responsibility. Know your optimal spec, ep values, etc. PVE is won when you do your homework. If you show up to raids without gems and enchants, don’t expect to be invited.

Commitment:

We push our 25 man content 3 days a week. As a result, we expect near perfect attendance. While there are limited allowances to repairs and consumables, it is your responsibility to be prepared. The guild will help in any way possible, but we do ask you put effort forward as well.

Experience:

Basically, we expect you to understand what is going on before you step foot into a raid. While the best way to learn is to actually see the boss, we expect you to be as raid ready as possible. This can be done by reading strats, watching videos, and talking to people who have done the fights before.

Gear:

We expect our applicants to take gearing their toons into their own hands. While raiding does offer the best gear, do not expect to be carried into raids because you can't take the time out of your day to run heroics or LFR. Raid spots are earned, not given.

Summary

Having said all of that, this is a game and we want to have fun. We want you to have fun with us. The sense of accomplishment upon downing a boss for the first time, discovering a new solution to a problem, attaining that achievement you’ve been working on for two weeks straight, getting that title, riding that pretty new Dragon. These are experiences that we enjoy. We are looking for like minded players.

Simple Math of Andorhal needs a warlock for a full-time 25-man raiding position. We raid Sunday-Thursday 7:00pm-12:00am EST. We have completed 16/16 tier 14 heroic modes and 2/12 tier 15 heroic modes (as of March 19th).

We are a 7-year-old guild started in 2006 who has every server first on Andorhal since Karazhan. Most members of Simple Math have been active raiders for a year or more. This is one of the most stable guilds you'll find anywhere.

You can apply on our forums or by sending an officer your application in a private message. You can also reach me through realid via my battle tag at nik#1607. Hope to hear from you soon!

Who We Are

A 10-man only Raiding Guild focused on progression and achievements. We enjoyed a very high level of success during the WotLK expansion, becoming the only 10-man Strict Guild worldwide to attain 100% raiding achievement completion, and we completed WotLK with a #1 World Achievement and #7 World Progression 10-man Strict ranking!

Currently 12/12N Throne of Thunder and starting progression into Heroic modes and achieved Tier 14 server-first Glory of the Pandaria Raider.

Since the release of WotLK, we have solely focused on 10-man content for a variety of reasons, but primarily because our Officers & Members believe a tighter bond and greater challenge comes from the smaller core of players a 10-man raid environment provides. We strive for a focused, motivated, enjoyable raid environment, given we typically raid 3 nights a week, 12 hours in total. We consider ourselves a good bunch of people, with a strong sense of self-accountability and would accept no less from any recruit.

Historically, our combined roster of members and Officership have had many years of experience in WoW and previous MMOs with a guild raiding history to back it up (you may read more on our About Us page {http://www.voximmortalis.com/about/} or this Pwnwear interview {http://pwnwear.com/2010/04/25/interview-with-world-1-strict-10-guild-vox-immortalis/}).

We are also fairly active in the WoW community and have created & maintained a reasonably popular series of video guides since WotLK raid content, which can be found here (http://youtube.com/gabestah). In addition, we are very active on our Guild Forums (http://www.voximmortalis.com/forum.php) and some of our members even enjoy the occasional blog post (http://www.voximmortalis.com/blog.php).

Who We Are Seeking

High Desire
(1) Warlock
(1) Elemental Shaman
(1) Mage

When We Raid

Hyjal-US is on Pacific Standard Time and our raid schedule is as follows every week:
Sunday, 6:30PM – 10:30PM PST
Monday, 6:30PM – 10:30PM PST
Wednesday, 6:30PM – 10:30PM PST

What We Expect

You have been playing WoW and/or other MMOs for at least one year (or if not, are confident your skill is of appropriate level).
You are looking for a long-term Guild with a tight-knit membership core with years of high-end raiding experience and exclusive focus on 10-man content.
You understand the advantages of a Council-based loot system that Vox Immortalis currently utilizes (http://www.wowwiki.com/Loot_council).
You are confident in your abilities when playing your roles in WoW, but remain open to suggestion and improvement.
You are very aware of your surroundings when in combat during raids. You can properly avoid void zones, breaths, cleaves, swipes, proper distance to others, incoming monsters, etc. while still performing your duties fully.
You are mature; in spirit if not age.

How We Manage Raids

At any given time, we try to maintain a constant roster of 11 Raiders, and those 11 Raiders are expected to maintain 100% attendance and will be part of our VCP system that manages Raid Rosters. While the full details of the VCP system can be found in this FAQ document {http://www.voximmortalis.com/vcpfaq/}, the basic summary of the system is as follows: All 11 active Raiders are rotated throughout the 10-man raid on a weekly basis, such that over the course of a 11 week period, each Raider will be able to raid 10 of those 11 weeks, or 30 out of 33 raids.

We strongly encourage applicants interested in becoming a Full-Time Raider to read through the VCP FAQ documentation completely.

How to Apply

If you meet all the above requirements and are still interested in applying, please fill out our application by clicking here (http://www.voximmortalis.com/apply/). Please, take your time to thoroughly review each question asked as well as your answers. Many applications are discarded outright because the applicant obviously rushed through the process. In most cases, your application will be our first impression of you — proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and personality go a long way.

Collateral Damage is looking for more! Our guild is made of a majority of adult working professionals that have been raiding together for over 5 years. We have recently transferred to Whisperwind from Vek'nilash to help recruitment and enjoy a livelier server. We all have real lives outside of WoW, but we still raid seriously. Our goal each tier is to finish the normals and work on a few heroics; we are not trying to be a US top 100 hardcore raiding group.

With the recent success in recruitment, we are exceptionally close to 25 man raiding; however, we require a few more to solidify our ranks. Candidates should be prepared to make 2 of our 3 raids (times listed below). We use mumble for communication, and EPGP for loot distribution.

We are a mature no drama guild.

If you're interested, applications can be submitted at www.cdvek.com (we are working on moving the site soon).

Guild: Ride the Lightning
Faction: Horde
Server: Malfurion (PvE) (CST)

Raiding
Ride the Lightning is looking for a few more raiders to finish out our 10 man raiding roster. We are a semi-casual raiding guild who has been around for over five years and has a core group of members with experience in all aspects of the game. We currently are looking for some additional raiders to help better round out our roster and allow people to sit if needed to prevent burn out. We understand that life is more important than the game as the majority of our members are 25-40 years old with jobs, family, and other commitments.
We are on a CST server and raid three times a week:

  • Monday @ 8:30 – 11:00 CST
  • Wednesday @ 8:30 – 11:00 CST
  • Sunday @ 7:30 – 10:30 CST

Our 10 man progression:
Normal – MSV 6/6 HoF 6/6 ToES 4/4
Heroic – MSV 3/6 HoF 0/6 ToES 0/4
Normal – ToT 2/12

*We do require raiders to maintain at least 70% attendance*

Casual
Ride the Lightning is also very active on non-raid nights as we have a large group of casual players who enjoy to run the following events:

  • Achievement Runs
  • Transmog Runs
  • PvP (BGs, Arenas, RBGs)
  • Guild LFR

I understand you will have many good options when looking for a new home, but I hope you will at least give Ride the Lightning a look. If you would like to discuss any of details about RTL please feel free to contact me.

Merlins pal hit us up before finding somewhere need to talk
<Jinx> invites you to join us. We're looking for Warlocks

We're currently 5/12N.

Raid Times are 9pm- 12am PST (11pm-2am CST, 12am-3am EST) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. We only raid 9 hours a week and don't have time to mess around. You'll have to be good or it won't work out. Undergeared? We can work though that. Underskilled? Not so good.

<JINX> is a 25-man progression guild located on the Runetotem (US PVE) server. Our raiders and raid leadership are well-tuned in their roles and have extensive experience in the raid environment dating as far back as Vanilla WoW.

The J!NX Brand is a clothing company for Gamers and Geeks. Joining the J!NX Raid Team is an opportunity to experience WoW raiding in a unique environment. If you are an exceptional player with a good attitude, this is most likely the last guild you will ever join. If you're trying to balance your life, your job, and your family with your inner nerd, come hang with some like-minded individuals. This relationship does infer certain responsibilities: they pay for our vent/website, etc and you represent them appropriately by acting like a mature individual on the realm.

We expect 90% attendance from our raiders, so plan on being available for just about all scheduled activity. Guild membership is limited to adults (20+). Sorry, but this is a non-negotiable requirement.

Interested players should register at the J!NX Guild website and apply:
http://jinx.wowstead.com/ Click the “apply” button just under the class recruitment icons.

There will be competition for slots. It's a raid guild, after all. If you expect to be handed a “core position” from start, forget it. Such things are earned. Although we try to keep enough personnel for a full group 6, we expend considerable effort in swapping people in and out on farmed content so that everyone gets to play. On progression fights we roll with our best 25.

That said, all guilds are revolving doors and we know, historically, that somebody is about to remember they have a life/job/wife etc.

If you would like to inquire, the following Officers can help: Dagor, Ammeythyst, Whiteytighty, or Lugbruz (personnel officer).

For more info: Real ID- Lugbruz #1400 or JinxDagor#1357
Bump
Hi merlins, Please see guild details below & visit iloveriot.com - we're LF ranged dps. If you have any questions, please reach out.
Thanks, zpriten :)

About us:
<Riot> has existed since the launch of vanilla WoW. Originally hailing from the Warsong server, we made our move to Gorefiend in the middle of The Burning Crusade, eventually becoming one of the longest standing 25-man raiding guilds on Gorefiend. Our primary goal is to clear the most current content as it becomes available on both normal and heroic 25-man difficulties.

<Riot> is a hard-casual guild. We have a focused, but fun and friendly raiding environment. We also have a very dedicated leadership and we do our best to maintain a good reputation on our server.

MoP Progression:
    Tier 15:
  • Throne of the Thunder King 5/12 (25N)
  • Tier 14:
  • Mogu'shan Vaults 4/6 (Heroic 25), 6/6 (25N)
  • Terrace of Endless Springs 4/4 (25 norm)
  • Heart of Fear 2/6 (Heroic 25) , 6/6 (25N)
  • Mogu'shan Vaults 6/6 (25 norm)
  • Cata:
  • Dragon Soul: 8/8 Heroic 25. Savior of Azeroth. Glory of the Dragon Soul Raider (25). (Many dragons)
  • Firelands: 7/7 Heroic 25. Firelord.
  • Other 25 Heroic: Sinestra, Nefarian, Al'Akir.

Recruitment Needs:
We will consider exceptional applicants but are currently focused on recruiting the following classes:
  • 1 Warlock
  • 1 Mage
  • 1 Healer (Priest, druid, or MW Monk)
  • 1 Elemental Shaman

Evening Raiding Times (Eastern US):
  • Wednesday 8 - 12
  • Thursday 8 - 12
  • Sunday 8 - 12

Requirements:
  • The guild's focus is 25-man endgame content. We do not care about 10-man content when a 25-man version exists.
  • Must be able to meet the above raid times. 100% attendance is not required, but you must have a compatible schedule. That includes all raiding days. We need dependable raiders.
  • Must be a team player. We recruit enough to ensure that we can keep raiding even if someone has to miss a night, so candidates must be okay with the possibility of sitting out on occasion.
  • Mains only. No second raid lockout for your alt. And please don't ask to bring your alts to farm content on primary raiding nights.
  • No drama queens. Can't emphasize this enough. We like Gorefiend and we don't want drama with other guilds. Don't bring it here.
  • We are not a hardcore guild. Yes, we're committed to 3 nights of 25-man heroic content, and we are serious when raiding. We do what we can in that time. We do not add extra days to push content. We do well enough, but we do not stress about server firsts. If this is a problem for you, do not apply.
  • Decent 25-person endgame raiding experience required. This includes pre-Mists of Pandaria.
  • Decent internet connection required.
  • We use EPGP for loot. ( http://code.google.com/p/epgp/ )
  • We use Mumble rather then Ventrilo for raid communication. (http://mumble.sourceforge.net/ ) Please install prior to any tryout.

If you're interested, please register and complete an application at: http://www.iloveriot.com. Any questions can be directed via website or in-game PM to Zpriten, Blindeye, Lannistur, Mogster, Shibumi, Grindewald, Miasma, or Warmlettuce.

There will be competition for slots. It's a raid guild, after all. If you expect to be handed a “core position” from start, forget it. Such things are earned by your output, survivability, understanding of fight mechanics, and reliability. Although we try to keep enough personnel for a full group 6, we expend considerable effort in swapping people in and out on a fight by fight basis so everyone gets to play, though on progression fights we roll with our best 25. We use EPGP with a healthy decay rate.

That said, all guilds are revolving doors and we know, historically, that somebody is about to remember they have a life/job/wife etc.

Hello Merlins! <Addiction> on Bleeding Hollow is currently looking for a warlock for our raid team. It is for a full time position as we do not recruit for the bench and run a tight knit roster. Why join here over all the other guilds that will post or contact you? We believe the atmosphere, the way we run things, and the history we have as a guild sets us apart from the rest. Come see for yourself and be part of a family/guild you will truly enjoy. We are also very active outside of raids which is not typical of most guilds. We are achievement seekers, pet collectors, old content runners. You name it, we probably do it in our off time. We are also big on alts and encourage people to have them.

<Addiction> is a semi - hardcore 25 man horde raiding guild on the US PVP Bleeding Hollow server. Most of our members used to be in Top 10 guilds and have vast prior raiding experience dating back to Classic WoW. We are all at the point where we do not enjoy the super hardcore raid scene and all that comes with it like we used to. We chose to run a more relaxed schedule that puts focus on the people we raid with and the quality of raiding more than the amount we raid. We are a talented group of players who want to see all the game has to offer without raiding 5-7 days a week to do so. We all enjoy our lives outside the game and don't have to sacrifice anything from it to play here. If you enjoy playing with highly competitive, friendly people on a lighter schedule then this is the place for you.

Many of our happiest raiders are ones who have been in top-tier, 5+day, 100%-attendance hardcore guilds and have decided that getting a boss kill a little earlier isn't worth the cost to their lives. We all play the game because we find raiding fun, and it makes the time we spend even better if you can actually enjoy the people you raid with. However, we?re still very competitive and we all want to get high-rank kills as each tier comes out.

Here is the need-to-know info about <Addiction>

Progression: 15/16 HM Tier 5.1 12/12 Tier 5.2
Raid Times: Tues/Wed/Thurs 10pm-2am EST
Loot: Loot council
Attendance: Full attendance required since it is a 3 day a week schedule
Progression: http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/bleeding-hollow/Addiction
Website: http://addictiontowow.com/

We are currently recruiting the following:

Tank: Closed
Healers: Holy Paladin, MW Monk, Disc Priest, Resto Shaman
Physical DPS: DK
Caster DPS: Elem shaman, Shadow priest, warlock, Mage, Boomkin

Obviously high quality applicants will be considered and trialed.

If any and all of this interests you then you can contact me through real ID or in game whisper or head on over to the website and put in an application.

real ID contact: lilsean2648@aol.com

Good Morning Merlins,

Odyssey is currently in need of a solid Warlock for our core roster. We are looking to improve our damage and awareness as needed for heroic fights and definitely have a niche that a warlock could fill with excellent damage and great multi dotting.

We are currently 1/13 on H25 content with a 3 night a week schedule. We were able to clear 12/12N on 25 man the first week and finished last tier 16/16H prior to the patch.

A little about Odyssey; We started back in the beginning of the Burning Crusade and we maintained a competitive ranking while managing to clear BT/Sunwell prior to any nerfs. We maintained our solid raiding atmosphere and have cleared all content throughout WotLK and Cataclysm as well. Our approach moving forward is to clear all the content that is made available to us in a timely fashion while also having a fun time. We only raid 3 nights a week, but we do complete all raid content with great results.

Our raiding style isn't as strict as other guilds. We show up ready to tackle whatever is thrown at us, but we also know it's a game and a time to get together and relax. Obviously no one has a lot of fun when one person constantly can't do X, but we adapt, swap out, or do what we need to in order to move forward. We have a great mix of raiders: the angry asian, the competitive asian, the spatially unaware guy, the guy who never watches videos, the guy who "lags", the guy who tells bad jokes, and on and on. It all adds up to be a fun atmosphere.

Our specifics:
Raids are Wednesday / Thursday / Sunday 7-11 CST
It is incredibly rare to go past raid times, people turn into pumpkins at raid end.

Server is located in the LA datacenter.

We use Mumble for raids; Vent is also available for pugs/alt runs.

We use a loot council. The main goal is to spread out the gear fairly. Fairly is subjective of course, but we try to reward everything from Performance, Punctuality, Attitude, Dedication and also factor in the rarity of the items etc. Gear is not the main reason people raid, but everyone loves shiny new things, especially if it makes you better at what you do.

Not really sure what else I can include. Here's our website for some background if you would like, and my real id as well.
