pretty much follow the rule of making sure theirs spirit and mastery on every piece of gear. gemming is straight forward yellow = resil red = int/resil blue = spirit/resil. i like to get as much mastery as possible without gimping other stats.

^^ this is perfect
Guess ill throw my 2 cents into this. It would depend, do you plan more arena or bg's? If you are planning arena i would not waste any gems to spirit. If you oom in arena before the other heals you were gonna lose anyways imo as they had you on the ropes the whole time. If you do bgs i still recommend dropping spirit with the rare exception of temple, any other bg you should do fine with mana. I would take all the non spirit gear such as bracers belt shield ect... I know most wont agree but the crit over the spirit in pvp can save battles. Resil ist top priority, followed by int. PvP power is junk. Those are only 2 primary stats you want. Secondary i would go with all mastery. Reforge it from haste or spirit if possible. Dont reforge to crit but dont reforge from crit. This is just MO. Worked pretty well for me this season. Take the int/crit leg chant too. If your running bg's then the others should help with inerv or lets you drink if needed but i dont see mana being an issue.

just curious, how much crit are you running?
im at work and didnt log in my holy set=( ill post at lunch when i check
I just like crit and mastery because one crit for 190k heal in arena puts a 78kish absorb on at my mastery lvl. And only time i oom is when other team is totally dominating and i feel that the spirit wouldnt help at all we would lose anyways. On the other hand with all the cc and burst one lucky crit with alot of mastery in between cc can save a battle. OP if you are running regular bgs then you can also use LoH glyph for mana, i use it for raiding. I guess im just a spirit hater. They give glyphs and drinks and pots to resolve any mana issues so y waste good stats on it?
i just don't believe that you can get enough crit to compensate the spirit lost. that's just my opinion but hey if it works for you then that's just another way of playing the class.
I'd agree with the gems Blackstar recommended. That's a nice place to start. The only point I would disagree with is getting Mastery.

Mastery is very useful in PvE. However, in PvP where damage constantly fluctuate and revolves around burst, having that renewable tissue paper is next to null, unless you somehow manage to have near 100% mastery (you won't...). Spirit until you're fine with your mana regen > Crit > Haste > Mastery.
ic thanks for all of your reply s and yeah ill be just arenas :) ur posts r helpful :)

can someone go over my enchants and gems and tell me if thats ok for the gear i got so far still working on getting full gear i based my gems and that on this post :)

bump
Thanks for the tips... do you have to stack a lot of Crit and mastery to get that effect ? Reforge or just gem for it.. I m assuming haste doesnt do nothing for us anymore ?
maybe i need more int my heals are !@#$ atm lol

damn that guy owns.
was just browsing but i think this site may be of help, i used it for my paladin because i had no idea what gems i should be picking
http://www.wowleaderboards.net/

if you click on the statistics button, choose your class, etc it will bring up all the gear and shows the most popular ways people gem reforge etc.

example : for head piece, most popular gem for the first socket was spirit and crit effect, for the second intellec and pvpresil

http://www.wowleaderboards.net/statistics?piece=head&class=Paladin&type=pvp&q4=1

its just a useful site if you ever need help deciding what route to go with stats, gems, etc etc :)
don't copy that crusherz he is fail
