Hunter Card Draw

Based on the current cards available to us, hunters are entirely reliant on starving buzzard to draw cards. Because of this our build diversity is very narrow as we are required to have many low mana cost beasts in our decks. Even then I find the effectiveness of starving buzzard to be completely random.

If I wanted to make a deck based on the hunter weapons and secrets and pirate minions it would immediately be rendered ineffective due to having no card draw.

Having the ability to draw more cards than your opponent is perhaps one of the biggest factors that determines who wins the game.

Blizzard really needs to look into this because without diversity the hunter class will quickly lose its appeal.

All the hunters really need is a "Draw a card" beast. That would leave the playfield even.

Alternatively, trade Leokk off Animal Companion for a 3/3 Hawk named Spirit, with Deathrattle: Draw a card.

I prefer using Flare, Tracking, and Novice Engineers for draw.

I usually save starving buzzard for the times when its getting too late in the game to not rush, but I lack unleash the hounds or other cards for it.

Starving Buzzard is just too hard to keep protected for long enough to get decent draw from it.

If you want to try that deck which sounds somewhat like what i'm playing then try the Auctioneer for card-draw.
