As you can see by the card list the playstyle is pretty obvious; all the cards synergise with each other and its an absolute blast to play. If you really want to see it in action I did a video earlier
Turn off the audio unless you want to hear me prattle on in the background
Anyway does anyone else run this deck or a variation of it? I rarely run into pirate decks which makes me sad because they are awesome :)

I didn't even know there was a card called Captain's Parrot, that's how unplayed pirate decks are! I think its an awesome idea, just requires you to have a lot of cards that not everyone has access to. I'm going to have to watch your video now just to see how it plays. Nice work though, I love decks that step outside of the common lists.
I started playing a couple pirate decks a few days ago, one for rogue and one for warrior. Coincidentally while I was using my rogue pirate deck earlier I came across another paladin pirate deck. I'd like to try it out with paladin and shaman when I can get their epic weapons, which might be a while..
While I find the warrior deck to do a better job at winning games, I find pirates fit better with rogue thematically, and a bit more fun to play. My deck list isn't too far off from yours either.
So far though, the deck does seem a bit underpowered. There's just not a lot of pirates to choose from. Southsea Captain doesn't do a whole lot as I've never had more than one pirate out with him. I feel like Captain's Parrot could do with also being a pirate type, but is still a pretty solid card otherwise.
I love playing a Arrrrrrogue deck too, its a lot of fun.
I've never had much luck with the patient assassin, and I don't think perdition's blade is really worth its card.
Also personally shadow step is one of my favorite cards so I like to run two of those. You also might consider running something like a shiv or an elven archer to help trigger your spiteful smiths. Mine tend to be painted with a big target on them and don't often survive long when enraged.
I also think you should run a blade flurry or two in there, with all that weapon stuff you really should have it. Several times I've won in the endgame by pumping up a weapon with deadly poison, hitting and then dealing that damage again with blade flurry. Great card.

I totally agree with Patient assassin but the guy has saved my !@#$ a few times; however I will likely replace him with a blade flurry for the aoe. I personally love perditions blade I think its an incredible weapon with a huge amount of utility combined with deadly poison its awesome.
As for elven archer; I just don't think much of it personally and spiteful smith for me is an auto include once proc'd you can put him into stealth with master of disguise which makes him much harder to get rid of especially for non mages. All in all its a really fun deck.
I did another run today to show the deck up against some random opponents including shaman Priest and Mage - all wins :) it shows off more of the decks combos etc
I also agree with you goose, warriors make excellent pirate decks I also have one but it is not as fun to play as my rogue deck I shall list it up so we can compare.
