Beginner Warrior

I started just a week or so ago and 1st thing I did was start playing in practice mode to unlock basic cards. Then I started playing in casual play mode to continue unlocking cards. I did warrior last after playing the other classes and I feel like for a new player the warrior was the most difficult to level up to level 10 to unlock the basic cards when playing in casual play mode.

Not sure if the match making system picks other players of similar level meaning they also don't have all the basic cards unlocked yet or how it works. I am not complaining that warrior needs a bunch of changes I am just giving my opinion that it seems harder for a newbie at the beginning.

Best way to get into the game is to spend some money on packs/play arena. Also any decent cheap deck should be able to have a ~50% win rate in casual so you'll probably see your win rate go up as you learn more about the game and the current meta. MMR is used for matchmaking in both ranked and casual but i don't think it considers how "expensive" your opponent's deck is.
