That completely and unnecessarily destroys the entire function of the card... yeah Blizzard would probably do that.

There's still nothing wrong with Miracle Rogues.

Shadowstep is fine. Card draw is the issue.

People asking for the wrong nerfs. Same thing for UTH, UTH was fine. Card draw was the issue.

You nerf babies need to learn to play. Stop hoping Blizzard changes a card. It won't make you play better, it won't change your attitude, and it won't solve your problems.

Miracle Rogue hasn't changed since they nerfed it like 6 months ago. It wasn't a problem between then and now, and isn't a problem now. You just don't know how to counter it because you're inexperienced.

They will not change Shadowstep.

Shadowstep is not even that great.

In a game where the best decks are consistent, Shadowstep is not a very consistent card.

Not too mention you literally need to build around it if you want to run it, which is never a good idea.

it could be 2 mana cost but reduces mana cost of the card by 3-4, which would only limit rogue carddraw

A minor nerf to miracle rogue, a huge nerf to any tempo rogues that use shadow-step.

Pretty much this. I wish blizzard fixed things in terms of card draw mechanics. I preferred hearthstone when value was more important than card draw+burst combos.

Seeing as the old version of Shadowstep was 0 mana return a minion (without the reduce 2 mana) increasing the cost to 2 would essentially just revert it back to the old cost where it was horribly underpowered.

Calling it now... will never happen, already tried and tested.

Keeping the card as is, but just slapping a +2 Mana cost to it, is obviously never going to happen.

However, if Blizzard are unhappy with miracle decks, which for the sake of argument we'll assume they are (since otherwise this thread and post are pointless), I could see them making changes similar to when they changed Charge. Increasing the cost but making the card also buff the Shadowstepped minion when it is replayed perhaps? Or so that replayed minions always get charge? Something along those lines.

In short, I think they'd be more likely to buff the card, and increase it's cost correspondingly as opposed to a nerf.

Malygos is a lot easier to deal with since you have more turns to kill the Rogue player, as well as just silencing him the next turn.
