That's pretty bad luck, but starting hands are sort of homogenized because of the selective mulligan. If a player has 4 cards and doesn't get wyrm in that set, he's got 4 more shots. The odds of getting one mana wyrm this way is about 47% (assuming you run two in your deck like most people do).
