Hey guys any valid strategies against druid's 20+ burst damage using a control paladins deck?
I cannot seem to find anything legit against it as a paladin

Taunts or kill them before turn 9.

Fighting against a Druid is a lot like fighting a priest or a Shaman. It's a constant war of attrition and to control the middle ground, and the odds are in his favor (there's a reason why there are more top Druid decks than Paladin ones). You need to be efficient.

1. Aldor Peacekeeper and Guardian of Kings work together to keep yourself out of combo range.

2. A taunt on the field buys you an additional turn. The combo consumes 9 mana, and he'll have to spend a swipe or a Keeper in order to remove it first. Be judicious in your usage of taunt minions. Does your deck have enough? Especially as good Druids run The Black Knight. The main counter to Black Knight is with Sunfury/Defender, and bait him into wasting it upon something weaker than your own Tirion/Sunwalkers.

3. Most especially, you need to think twice before utilizing an Equality combo. The Druid has far better card draw than we do. 2 Ancients, a Nourish, two drakes, turn 10 Wild Growths, 1 damage Wraths, and Bloodmage Thalnos give him +14 draw (some Druids also run Auctioneer, for more gains). You MUST take out multiple minions with your cards, otherwise the Druid will prevail simply because they can dish more out. Whittle his hand down for victory.

4. Damage pressure does help. If you can force a premature treant charge, you're in the right direction. Remember, his hero power does let him pick off our minions, but he takes face damage each time. It is not a full loss when he uses it to wipe away Divine Shields, so don't get discouraged.

5. Lastly, a Cenarius is a popular hail mary, but neatly countered with a Consecration. Work to save one (in other words, try to pair an Equality with Recruits rather than Con; they'll die to the next swipe anyways).

Switch to rush and kill him by turn 6, like most of the lameadins out there these days.
