My deck is a very heavy ramp deck, with double Sunwalkers and double AoW instead of the FoN/SR combo. Ragnaros and TBK are my legendaries.
I have 28 core cards and 2 "tech" cards that I swap out. Up until rank 8, I was seeing a lot of Zoo, so my "tech" cards were:
But now I don't see Zoo after Rank 9 and I'm not sure I need these 2 cards anymore. What should I change them to? I am considering:
- Young Brewmaster
- a second Argent Commander
- a second facless manip
- an Azure Drake (I don't run any)
- Healing Touch
- or even 1 copy of FoN/SR, but I prefer to play without it.
Please let me explain the Young Brewmaster: he could be used to "cycle" my Black Knight, Big Game Hunter, or Ancient of Lore.
Naturalize is another choice. Obviously there is a severe penalty to using this card, but I can see it useful in two situations: either in the mid-game where it can give a big tempo swing, or at the end of the game when players are about to reach fatigue and giving 2 cards doesn't really matter.
Otherwise I could use Cairne or Ysera, since games last longer now. Healing Touch might be a good protection against freeze mage, or anyone that uses Alexstraza.
Please write your opinions on which 2 "tech" cards I should take (remember I have most trouble with Handlock and Frost Mage).
