Yea, I've played 50~ QM games, but only played half the maps. What's up with that? Sorry, noob here. Just started a few days ago.

They were disabled since the last patch, to make the new map appear more often. They will start appearing again in QM today.
It's in the patch notes.

All eight battlegrounds should now be available for play once more for those that play on the Americas region of Battle.net. The full battleground pool will be restored for all remaining regions throughout the day.

I still get to play on the new map just a few time. May be it's my luck that cause this, or is it Blizzard RNG?

When you release the next map it would be cool if you just upped the chance of the new map being chosen instead of removing other old maps. :)

The way you went about it was terrible. It very quickly got repetitive and stale. I get that you were trying to get people the opportunity to play more of the new map. The MUCH better way to do it is simply make Battlefield of Eternity 30% and make the 7 other maps 10% each. Same effect, much less repetition. Please consider this for next time.

Completely agree. This was defiantly not the best way to go about showcasing the new map. Hopefully this was just trial and error and next time we don't go through this type of "showcase" again.

I agree with just upping the chance of everyone encountering the new map rather than removing half the maps. You didn't do it (that I know of) when you released TotSQ so why would you this time?

I played 22 Battlefield of Eternity, 22 Tomb of the Spider Queen, 23 Cursed Hollow, and 27 Sky Temple. (More if I included today's games). I played this morning for a bit hoping that the old maps had been reactivated but, as far as I could tell, they had not yet.

Eventually they will have enough maps that they can do rotations for a week at a time, but give us more than 4 maps in a rotation, currently since the map pool is still so small, it gets stale when they take so many out of the pool.

On a side note, it will be interesting to evaluate how hero balance differed from last week - 4 maps only to this week, all maps.

No decision is perfect, but many I wonder to myself, "wth?" Maybe there should be a community voting poll or something that the devs make about upcoming significant stuff, and give us 3 options or something...idk.

Mathematically...And I believe I remember reading that the matchmaker does this...If everyone has a 30% chance to get one map, and the mm takes into account the rotation of all 10 players...You would NEVER play anything but BoE.

Finally...

If you ever introduce map vetoes I think we wont see this map on ranked any more.

I had the unfortunate joy of playing blackheart's bay 3 times in a row. If only collecting coins helped me to get more skins and heroes instead of cannonballs.

So very glad all maps are back in rotation. It was horrific, all that Spiders/Hollow all the time.

Thank you. Please never do that again.
I now hate those four maps.

In the future, add 2 dice rolls to the new map. It'll be 3x as likely to become the selection. That way you can showcase and favor it while leaving the entire map pool intact.
