We just released a new balance update for Heroes of the Storm that includes changes for Cleanse, Tyrande, Lunara, Brightwing, and several others. Today's patch is now available for players who login to the Americas region, and will be released around the world throughout the rest of the day.

We're going to start releasing balance updates more often, though not necessarily every week. Today's patch is the first of these balance updates, and you can typically expect to see them released on Wednesdays going forward.

Check out the Balance Update notes here.

More importantly, STILL NO ATTENTION for ARTHAS.

Did you guys forget he exists as a playable character in the game? He hasn't received a warranted touch up since official release. Hell, even before that.

ARTHAS UPDATE NOW please.

I really would like to see balance changes for heroes that aren't viable in ranked play... or give them more interesting and unique talent choices instead of a popular 1 or 2 that's taken every single game.

Anubarak, Arthas, Azmodan, Illidan, Butcher, Zeratul, Reghar, and so on.

Will we expect to see changes for them sometimes soon?

Edit: And I have a strong opinion that Rewind should be taken out of the game entirely. Give heroes an unique talent that defines them instead of a generic one (look at Greymane's lv 20 talents, they're all unique for him with cool unique icons). Plus Rewind forces some talents and abilities to be toned down or less unique because of the potential in game breaking abuse.

Looks pretty good on paper, especially the Brightwing change.

I really think Lunara should have had AA fixed first. When the stutter-step issues are resolved, the increased poison damage might put her over the top.

Nice patch, going with small changes is always better than changing too much!

Nice also to know you're going to patch more often in the future (waiting for more than a month for a balance patch, especially where clear problems were present (e.g. Lunara & Tyrande) was unnerving and made me play less and less!)

lol these changes are super pathetic

seems like it was worked on over lunch to say that you did something

tuning things that really don't matter and don't address anything community has talked about

1) aint nobody going to play BW
2) aint nobody still going to play Lunara
3) aint nobody still going to play Stiches
4) holy smokes tiny Tyrande nurfs she is still powerful
5) nurfing raynor doesn't address the stun meta

if you are interested in what top amateur players have to say, holler, I am willing to break down each hero for you

Developer Comments: Getting hit by a giant meat cleaver should hurt, right? Stitches totally agrees.

This is why I fall in love with you, Blizzard. Please keep it up!

I play them both.

Both sets of buffs were sorely needed.

I'll just enjoy them even more now.

lets hope there is another patch soon

Now Hl is all about who gets KT first, since he wasnt touched at all.

Dear Blizzard, can you maybe say if small patches in between like this are planned over the next weeks?

1 week of KT op king is tolerable but not 2 months

I am surprised there was no nerf of KT's 1.5 second stun. Jaina's slow was nerfed but KT is still top pick.

No nerfs to the stuns of Muradin and ETC? That's why they are top picks right now and most of the other warriors are not played.

Also, still Hunters mark at 25%? Seems reasonable otherwise.

I feel like Tyrande got hit a little too hard, I always felt she was pretty balanced, she just excels so much because of the current meta.

The whole meta coulda been solved by using diminishing stuns instead of individual nerfs.

I generally agree with the Raynor changes.

Why did you touch malf but kept lifeseed taking up an inventory slot? why the fuuuck does it take up an inv slot? it's so frustrating not being able to use 1 when that's an active on every other hero.

It's interesting Diablo had no change when his win rate is so close to Tyrande's

Hell the game was far more fun before the new scaling, super-fast team fights with no diverse strategy is now the way to play. The stun-meta wasn't so huge before scaling, other heroes were actually viable in ranked.

I'm surprised how mad some people are about some of this patch, ease up on the salt guys. I don't think we can really argue with the changes that they DID make and getting upset about what wasn't in the patch doesn't make much sense. Based on the reports so far, Blizz has at least heard most of the complaints and are getting to them.

To be honest, the biggest and most impactful part about the patch notes in my opinion was the statement that they are increasing balance patches. That's pretty hard proof they at least know that things need to be worked on diligently.

Why would you take aim to nerf tyrande. I actually thought she was in a decent place being so diverse. Even what you call small steps to change her seems like its really going to have a big negative effect. There are so many other broken heroes. FOCUS ON THOSE! Gazlowe is playing with 2 skills...his laser is absolutely useless. FIX IT or better REPLACE IT!!! Greymane....very fun to play but the worgen form is usually only useful as a finisher since he cant survive a real team fight even when played well. It forces him to stay in human form and hurt the team with the lower dps. He needs a buff in worgen form. Not a lot but definitely needs something.

This patch took way too long for what it was. The size of this patch also suggests that this may of been forced out because people were rightly complaining about the slow speed of patches.

I felt the problem with brightwing was the low burst healing output, not the inability to clear lanes. Other changes are ok I guess, rainor could have gotten a dmg nerf, also I feel greymane could get a little buff, but I understand he is out very shortly. To address this here, gftt needs a slightly increased range ;)

LOL at the return of cleanse. You can now pre-cleanse again, say good bye to the stun meta and hello to every support being required to pick cleanse again.

I thought Blizzard said they'd never roll that back?

On the other hand, I never felt like it was a bad thing, it's just so weird to be flip flopping stances.

Yeah as I wrote, I think gftt has too little range, when enemies are low they go back, if you chase them you get punished too easily. also when you are in human form you can attack the enemies tank what does almost nothing because of your very low attack range. If you take increased human range you miss out an almost must have talent for the cocktail.
