The StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS) Poland Nationals tournament took place last Saturday in Wroclaw, amid the chants and cheers of an enthusiastic audience. With the top eight Polish players who prevailed at the open qualifiers vying for only two slots in the Europe Finals, the competition was bound to be intense.

This weekend at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, Red Bull and Day[9]TV are bringing together 16 of the best StarCraft II players in the world for the first Red Bull Battlegrounds tournament. 

The United States’ top StarCraft II players will soon gather to compete against one another in the StarCraft II World Championship Series (WCS) USA Nationals. They’ll be battling for the honor of representing their country at the North America Finals later this year, as well as a share of the $30,000 prize pool.

After fierce competition during the online qualifiers, the best StarCraft II players from Belgium and the Netherlands gathered at the ESL TV studio in Cologne, Germany for two exciting WCS tournaments. The top three Belgian players battled it out in the Belgium Nationals, while the top three Dutch players competed in the Netherlands Nationals.

The next event in the StarCraft II World Championship Series are the New Zealand Nationals taking place in Auckland, New Zealand on June 2. Eight of the best StarCraft II players in the country will battle for glory, and the opportunity to represent New Zealand at the WCS Oceania Finals in August; a road that could lead to competing in the World Championship later this year!

This weekend will kick off Major League Gaming's second Spring Arena. These 32 players fought tooth-and-nail through regional qualifiers to earn a spot here, and this is going to be their last chance to earn a spot straight into Pool Play at the MLG Spring Championship in MLG Anaheim.
