How do you make a map?

As a student wanting to go into the game industry, I found this podcast very interesting. Many of the things things talked about we are currently going over in my Game Design Theory class.

hey i have a problem and blizzard support dont have my answer. Every time i try to use the starcraft 2 map editor it says i need to put in battle net acc and pass.so i do but then it says battle.net connection lost. does that every time i try to enter it. add me on starcraft if u no how to fix it :(

Wasn't able to watch the vid as I was blocked by a full screen ad for SC2... even though I already have it... and I'm logged in... anyway... I'm sure the vid was nice.

I love the game but I have no friends on here so I don't really feel like playing multiplayer. Someone add me so I have someone to play with...

dude u think blizz can make a battle.net like that in a few years are u crazy puting normal players in leagues with over 1000000 people on at one time how do u expect them to do that sooner man starcraft isnt just about the camping missions its about being faster and better then the others and playing them thats wat they worked on

I think the game is great, only problem ive had is that i need a better comp to stop my lagginess

the endin is a cliff hanger comon that cant be it for this one. its to short for 10yrs of workin on it

Know what blizzard needs to do is put the chat area back in like in sc 1 n bw i miss it when ur not in a game n no friends are on it would be nice to just sit n chat to other sc2 players while sc2 is running n not alt tab'n out to use something else why not just add another lil tab uptop where the home n profile tabs are for a chat area an yes i was REALLY PEAVED when i saw there was no online ingame chat room like the old days i actually didnt really want to try online cause of no chat room it kinda takes away what was in my oppinion one of the games good features in sc 1 n bw

Why would anyone be skeptical of SCII. It has been a in development for quite a while. I have not found any significant glitches. Overall Blizzard created a game that will rival the numbers for SC and SCBW.

no issues with the game at all, great storyline with good voice acting, was skeptical about the game until i bought it

The game is great when it runs which is not very often. I installed the latest patch and the game crashes at the connect window. Nice work Blizzard.

You bet the wait was worth it, SC has easily surpassed my expectation. GG

Great Blizzcast, as usual. The only problem with Blizzcast? They take Blizzard about as long to make as their games ;)

Who else played the beta customs? Nexus wars was great as was many other games. Just wish I had a mouse and a desktop computer. I'd upgrade my Video Card to enjoy the character animations.
