WCS Season 3 Finals are Ready to Rock

WCS Season 3 Finals are Ready to Rock

Season 3 of World Championship Series Premier League competition has been a thrilling ride since it began with WCS Korea in late August. Over the past few weeks we’ve seen nail-biting all-in plays, strategic macro games, and devastating upsets. We’ve even watched Choi ‘Polt’ Seong Hun rise to glory as the first repeat League Champion. Everything comes to a head at the Season 3 Finals this weekend, where we’ll find out who still has a shot at the BlizzCon Global Finals, and who will be heading home to practice for the WCS in 2014.

The North American Star League is prepped and ready to bring you three full days of WCS Season 3 Finals action live from the Toronto Congress Center in Toronto, Canada starting Friday, October 25. The top five performing Season 3 players from WCS Europe and Korea will be joined by the top six finishers from WCS America for a total of 16 Season Finals competitors. Those who manage to overcome their opponents in the best-of-three group stage will move on to the best-of-five quarterfinal playoff bracket. Upon reaching the finals, the two remaining players will go head-to-head in a best-of-seven match, from which a Season Champion will emerge victorious.

If you’re not sure who to root for, or just want to see who your favorite player is prepping to dominate this weekend, check out the Season 3 Finals contenders and their round of 16 groups below:
