St. Jude PLAY LIVE comes to StarCraft II

St. Jude PLAY LIVE comes to StarCraft II

At Blizzard Entertainment, we understand the value and importance of helping those in need. StarCraft II and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are teaming up in the fight against childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. Join us August 1 – 3 to watch, play and donate as StarCraft fans stream their gameplay to raise awareness and funds for the kids of St. Jude. Sign up and strap in – because some things are worth fighting for.

Details for Streaming

To get on-board, the first thing you need to do is sign up at the St. Jude PLAY LIVE website. St. Jude has made it incredibly easy to do this, just by heading over to their site and pressing the Sign Up button. From there, St. Jude has partnered with Twitch.TV to make gathering donations easy. Once you're signed up, you'll get a special donations link, and you can get to streaming your games! While streaming, you simply direct people to this link if they would like to contribute! Also, make sure you shoot us a Tweet @StarCraft with the hashtag #PLAYLIVE to let us know when you’re going to be streaming.

If you'd rather keep your gaming offline, that's totally possible too. Just check out their handy FAQ to get all the information you need.

Blizzard also has participation in St. Jude PLAY LIVE for Hearthstone and World of WarCraft. No matter what game you feel most comfortable with, you can still find ways to contribute. We're really looking forward to seeing what our community can pull together for such a fantastic cause.
