StarCraft II Demo Now Available

If you haven’t yet experienced the intense strategic combat of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, you can get into the action today with the newly released demo edition. Featuring full access to the first three missions of the single-player campaign, as well as unlimited access to skirmish mode as the terrans versus an A.I. opponent, the free demo gives you an introduction to the cinematic storytelling and fast-paced gameplay of StarCraft II.

Begin your demo experience here. You don’t need a Battle.net account or Internet connection to play once you’ve downloaded the demo, but you will need both if you are ready to upgrade to the full version of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. For more information on the demo, read the FAQ.

This would have been nice to help keep me sane during that period I wasn't able to get Starcraft 2 until September... sheesh. But hey, I can shoot this around to my friends.. n' stuff. Because a fair bit of my gamer friends don't have it and it's a sick joke! My geust passes are all used.. so this is great.

The guest passes are way better, it got me hooked mainly cause of the competitive multilayer, not the decent campaign. If anything, they should have just made the guest passes a bit longer than 7 hours instead of making a demo.

With demo or not, I would have bought SC2 anyway (I was a BW fan)

Nice move by Blizzard! New players will could "taste" the game before buying it. ;D

anybody out there old enough to meber spawned copies? Now that was a way to get someone into this game. Activision is the lamest thing to happen to blizzard since starcraft ghost was let go. :( sad face

how come they said that there wasn't goning to be a demo and now they made one? It's been over 4 months since the launch and they release this!!!
They should atleast have maybe some free matches against other people.
