So you may have heard by now... StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty launched! As players sink their teeth into the single-player campaign and work to climb up the multiplayer ladder, let us take a look back at all of the information that’s circulated this week.

It Feels Like Old Times Already

Whether you have limited StarCraft experience or you were sitting comfortably atop the Diamond league in beta, you need to read about and check out our all-new game guide. There you’ll find pages of helpful tips and tricks for navigating through Battle.net, StarCraft II gameplay, and the systems of the Koprulu Sector. We’ll regularly be expanding on these guides too, as was noted when we introduced a new section this week: What is StarCraft II?

If you fancy yourself a competitor, be sure to swing by our Leagues and Ladders FAQ for clarification on some common questions. If you have additional concerns, head to our Multiplayer and eSports forum so that we can address them in upcoming blogs. We’ve even put together an overview of character profiles so you know how your successes on the battlefield can be tracked, as well as some information on how to get the most out of Battle.net and Real ID.

Nuclear Launch Detected

We’re overjoyed by the turnout at our global midnight launch events. If you didn’t catch the size and scope of the release parties, check out all the spicy images we’ve gathered from folks the world over. Hey, there’s a nice little video too! While you’re at it, you can read all about the celebration we had at our North American midnight launch event in Orange County, as we covered it live (part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5).

If you have yet to listen to BlizzCast #14, where Production Director Chris Sigaty and Game Director Dustin Browder summarize their thoughts and feelings on the beta test process and the subsequent release of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, we highly recommend it.

It’s been mere days since the official launch, and we’re only beginning to get our feet wet sharing new information and topics of discussion with the community. Stay tuned for much more to come!

I'm loving the campaign so far and each mission feels varied and entertaining. I plan on playing the campaign at least three times with variations to my research, missions selection and upgrades. I studied game design and I have to say you guys nailed this game. I usually don't look at guides so soon because part of a strategy game is the challenge of getting your ass handed to you.^^

Pretty psyched about the games balance so far. I just started playing today, after being a long time SC1 Player I noticed 2 big differences. Its easier to build for a good end game macro build earlier on. And, a lot of the techs are much more complicated~

@neonlyte: Hard is only hard if you are going for those time limit challenges. But i've only played a few on hard. Normal is perfect.
