Patch 1.4.1 Now Live

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty patch 1.4.1 is now live! This small patch features several bug fixes, both to the game and the StarCraft II Editor. Be sure to check out the full patch notes below to learn all about the latest changes.

 

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty - Patch 1.4.1

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where loading certain DXT textures on custom maps could cause a crash.
  • Fixed an issue where loading corrupted texture files could cause a crash.
  • Fixed an issue where video drivers that do not support certain texture formats could cause a crash.
  • Fixed an issue where a crash could occur when Windows resumes from hibernation mode while the game is running.
  • Fixed an issue which could cause incorrect campaign progression when loading saved campaign made prior to 1.4.0.
  • Fixed slowdowns which could occur when using Razer Spectre mouse.

StarCraft II Editor Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where destroying a Dialog Item of type Edit Box while text is being entered could cause a crash.
  • Fixed an issue where camera rotation behaved improperly when rotation was modified by positive values.

You have to look in your finder and go to repair, and run that tool, and if that doesn't work, call blizzard customer service.

The patch "pc-game-hdfiles\Support\RzAPM.DLL" could not be applied. (MD5 mismatch: expected 0xB98536CCC073DBC63B291DC6DC674AD1, actual 0x19C26AB6CF77836D6064079AF4B4777B.)(PTCApply_BSDiff failed.) If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (BNUpdate::PTCApply)
I had a virus so I used system restore.. now i get this error from this patch; on a side note: this patch made me insanely..

I haven't been here in a while but anyone knows if it's still possible to download the patches from this site? I need to rebuild my rig and I don't want to wait after the download & update after installing the game. Just curious... Thanks in advance for any reply.

I have three systems (two PCs / 1 Mac). All of them needed to have their drivers updated. The Mac was playable but I lagged out of a few games.

After updating drivers I am having 0 issues.

I cant play, I get as far as the logging screen and then the game crashes and the Launcher connecting to patch server thing comes on, HELP
this never happened before with any other patch

@Giovanny: It's weird, but it worked for me. Open up Internet Explorer, go to internet options and click the advanced tab. There should a button that says "reset". Click that, wait for it to finish and then try running starcraft.

I uninstalled the game because it got 4FPS when playing campaigns...

It drove me mad instead of making me happy.

Honestly i havent had any gameplay/graphical issues ever with any update. im running a 2500k @ 4.4 w 4gb @ 1866 9-9-9-20 and 2 560ti's in SLI. If anyone with a similar system is having issues feel free to contact me on here or ingame

A Quick Guide For Those Having Problem With This Patch
Manually Turn Off Anti-Aliasing from your graphic card, Set FPS from Variable.txt
frameratecap=60 (In-game FPS limit)
frameratecapGlue=30 (FPS limit for the battle.net user interface)
That's what I did and it worked for me.

My parents have parental Control on my account. I can acces this bnwet website, but when i open the game client, it always says The service may be down, you may have a firewall, blah blah.

When my parents unloacked the client, i patched but still can;t login. Can anyone help?

Hey Guys, I Found Out What's Been Messing Up With My Graphic Card On 1.41, I turned the Show Unit Status Bars to Normal and I get to play the game I usually play. Try It Out Guys

Soo everytime i open SC2 launcher and press play it shuts off and says i need to DL patch 1.4.1 and when i click ok it loops an restarts to the launcher again saying the patch finished DL and when I press play again same message apears :,(( WHAT do i do??!!!!

@Prophet: try removing your firewall or maybe add an exception. I use peer block and it blocked the update. I was going through the same exact issue you are describing.

Still have framerate issues that I NEVER had before 1.4
