Season 7 GSL Map Poll

In recent seasons we’ve put a much greater emphasis on tournament viable maps on the StarCraft II ladder, and the community has consistently asked us to add more Global StarCraft II League (GSL) maps to go along with Tal’darim Altar LE in the map pool.
Good news! That time is coming soon, and you can help us select your favorite GSL maps for inclusion in the ladder pool. Look over these maps from GSL history carefully, then vote for your two favorite maps to replace existing maps in the ladder. When choosing your favorite maps, please keep these qualities in mind:
- Balance
- Map Size
- Rush Distances
- Fun
One week from today, we’ll tally the votes from polls being run in each region to help us choose the maps that will be added to the ladder for season 7. Here are the maps you’ll be voting on:
Bel'shir Winter
Calm Before the Storm
Crevasse
Daybreak
Dual Sight
Metropolis
Terminus
Xel'Naga Fortress

Protected naturals and little open space around the back decrease the effectiveness of Muta/Banshee
Beh'shir is terrible for Protoss. Against another Protoss, the map will be like Tal'darim Altar. 4Gate 50% of the time. PvZ: How are we supposed to FFE? Walling with the Nexus is the optimal way, but it's so vulnerable to Roach Busts.
Calm Before the Storm: I am a Protoss, but I want to be fair and not vote this map for Zergs will have a difficult time in a 3Base Vs. 3Base scenario.
Crevasse: The InBase expansion is just going to throw off the macro and timings of so many players with its irregular amount of minerals and its Rich Vespene Geyser
Daybreak: The most balanced in my opinion. With a fairly easy to secure natural but a slightly difficult to defend Third, no race benefits too much, unlike the case with Crevasse or Calm Before the Storm.
Dual Sight: I'm not going to explain too much. Even most of the pros veto it.
Metropolis: Really good expansion layouts and really good Xel'naga Tower placements. Also, Terrans can't benefit with their OP Lift Off Command Centers for the Islands. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I HATE YOU TERRANS!! HAHA!!
Terminus: Same as Calm Before the Storm, but favoring Zerg as Zerg can mass expand everywhere while attacking with Mass Muta.
Xel'naga Fortress: It's just Poorly designed. Is it me, or will every map with "Xel'naga" in its name be terrible?
but then again going by color alone is probably a bad way of picking a new map. :)
