@Stealthwolf: oh I don't know because its stupid to play random in a tournement and if you chose random you are stuck with it the whole way through generally only people play their main race cause you know, they want to win herp derp

@Stealthwolf: if you are good at all the teams, then go random so then the enemy does not know what team you are, so then he will have to scout you doing that gives you a little less minerals because of the one Probe, SCV, or Drone.

@ThePraetor: Umm, you should always scout. Whether or not you know the other persons starting race or even starting position. The information you gain from scouting is far more useful than the 5 mineral that one probe will be pulling for you...

@ThePraetor: Any half decent tournament requires random players to shout their race at the start of the game 99% of the time, removing the "mystery" of being random. Look at people like TLO, a once dominant terran turned to Random and is now nothing but a brood war memory of a pro.

It's not really World Championship if you excluded so many countries. Are any countries from Central America even eligible to participate?
@ShroomeD: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/4797946/

From the FAQ:
"My country is not listed here; will I be able to participate in the StarCraft II World Championship Series?

We plan to accommodate as many countries as possible. More information about participating countries not listed here will be posted at a later date."

@ShroomeD: do you know how long it will take or how little players per country will be if you include all 140 countries of the world
