Welcome to our third edition of Comm-Link Online. In our last report we plumbed the StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty community site for the latest developments. How about we have another go?

There are no unique names, so yeah its pointless to post a list of player names. Blizzard failed hard on this. How can anyone take sc2 as a serious competitive game, there are probably like a 2 thousand people who think they are in the top 200 of there region....

@makeithurt: It would be cool if they displayed a certain unit that had the most kills and maybe keep track of that stat or relitive ones.

@makeithurt: If it doesn't alter game mechanics, it could be an interesting idea. I *am* against units getting stronger as they kill more, but showing that number might add some psychological effect to the players. Maybe seeing such "elite" units would enrage another player, trying to Rambo their way just to kill them. Or it could reveal more of the player's strategy, i.e. showing which special units they're using the most, which method are they using to dispatch your army, etc.

You should make it so when a laptops battery goes to 8% and then it goes on black screen that when you plug it into the battery the screen isn't frozen for 12 minutes.

Yeah I wish there were also more ways to enhance the game with guilds/clans etc, and I'm also hoping some of the units missing in multiplayer will be available in future x-packs, namely firebats, lurkers, medics, goliaths, and I still miss Dragoons /weep

@Sinfjotli: actually if you want to use those units get into map making and make an advanced melee (advanced in the way that it is different from normal sc2 melee) game or something like footmen frenzy from wc3... If no one plays it because of this BLASTED popularity system atleast you now have mapping experience for the next game. btw they aren't really missing units. We know where they are.

i saw this one zerg unit in a zerg gameplay thing that would spit this stuff onto barracks are cause it to create infested marines. thats definately gona be in the zerg campaign like spectres or predators

@Madkat: Yeah, that was an old experimental Infestor ability I believe. They took it out and made the Infestor do a couple other sweet things.

@toasters: In terms of the Campaign, it's a given that we're going to get new Zerg strains. Although for multiplayer, it's still probable that we'll be seeing new units for all the races. Or at the very least we'll get a lot of rebalancing, including special abilites.
