Patch 1.0.3 Now Live

Patch 1.0.3 is now live. This small patch addresses a minor technical issue that was preventing certain players from accessing offline play. For additional information, check out the official patch notes below.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue preventing some players from accessing offline play from the login screen.

Please note that certain regions also received an update that now ensures the Friends Tab on the Leagues & Ladders page will function properly. To learn more, you can view all regional patch notes here.

god im sick of this i can never play with a patch is out i always have trouble downloading it i always need like a raw file for a download or sumthin... tryed disable firewall reinstalling it but none of tht seems to work <.<

For anyone still having the problem with downloading the newest patch. Uninstall SCII with the "Starcraft II - Uninstall" tab. Then re-download SCII from the Game Client provided by Blizzard. It takes a while so be patient. It should run through smoothly without a problem. Good luck!

The patch "pc-game-hdfiles\Support\SC2Editor.exe" could not be applied etc... Same problem here i wonder if i reformate my computer if it will work then. My friends say their sc2 is jacked up and good to go mine is jerked off and ready to blow

This is bs! For some reason I cannot log onto battlenet itself. When i input in my user name for online play the connect button wont allow me to click it. It just stays frozen. Any help people?

I purchased a brand new laptop just to be able to play this game, and now thanks to this patch, I can't play this game offline or online. I didn't spend a total of $800 just to be able to play this game for a few months before Blizzard screws it up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game three times, tried the repair thing twice, and I am still completely unable to play Starcraft 2.

You must restart your game client and patch to the latest version before playing a multiplayer game.....
what the heck does this mean? I was playing online with np, then i am forced to download the latest patch which does this to me and now i cant play any online multi player games.

i was getting the unable to read file error as well. I used the repair tool in SC2. then i ran starcraft 2 as administrator and that seems to have allowed me to download the patch.

Can't login, when patching saying "Blizzard Updater was unable to read the file "Support\SC2Editor.exe....." in the folder where i installed the game i even runned the repair,and finished it with success, but still doesnt load.. Blizzard do something, i wanna play(((

... NOT trying to sound stupid, because yes i have been reading all these post. But is this something we have to wait WEEKS on.. or merely.. they are gonna do their jobs and fix it immediately. like a normal company would? btw. i have literally been on hold with help for twenty one minutes and 41 seconds. maby some answers will come? and i realize i spelled wombat wrong in my gamer tag

The least Blizzard can do is offer us a fix in the short term. This is seriously absurd. I never even play the damned game online. I should not have to log into Battle .net at all. The funny thing is, I can get into Battle .net and into WoW but not into a game that I want to play by myself in the precious few hours I have to do it today.

Am I the only person that thinks it's absurb that a patch designed to aid in offline gameplay would result in not being able to access battle.net at all (including offline gameplay)? I guess Blizzard thought I felt left out and decided they wanted me to join the ever growing group of customers left with a sour taste in their mouths.

If Blizzard didn't make such godamn good games they would have lost my loyalty a long time ago.. but damn.. they make it hard (especially when you have to wait 10 years between games -- excluding WOW.. ugh).
